Rotten Tomatoes’ A24 ranking puts On Becoming a Guinea Fowl first in the snapshot checked October 4, 2026, at 100% on the Tomatometer. Lady Bird and Eighth Grade follow, each at 99%. These are changeable critic-score readings—not audience ratings or a definitive measure of which film is best.
What the A24 ranking measures
Rotten Tomatoes’ guide, “All A24 Movies Ranked by Tomatometer,” orders films by their Tomatometer scores. Rotten Tomatoes defines the Tomatometer as the percentage of Approved Tomatometer Critics who gave a film a positive review. It is not a star rating, an audience score, a box-office ranking, or a direct measure of artistic merit.

The guide’s introduction characterizes A24 as an independent movie company whose identity is not tied to one filmmaker or genre. Its varied titles make the ranking a cross-genre comparison, rather than a list of films that all share one style.

The one-point difference between the top score and the next two does not establish a meaningful difference in audience preference or artistic quality. It reflects the share of positive reviews from the critics counted by the Tomatometer.
How to use the list
Read the ranking as a guide to critical reception, then use the individual entries to decide what to watch. Rotten Tomatoes’ guide entries include a Critic Consensus, synopsis, cast, and director or credited contributors. Consensus text is the site’s editorial summary, so it is useful context—not an independent verdict.

- Choosing by taste? Compare each film’s genre, subject, synopsis, and credited filmmakers rather than assuming adjacent scores mean similar viewing experiences.
- Looking for audience opinion? Consult the audience score separately; the Tomatometer does not measure audience ratings.
Finding a film to watch
The guide’s latest section surfaces a Fandango ticket prompt for a current A24 release. That indicates a ticketing path, not confirmed showtimes near you. Check the film and your location directly for current theater availability. Streaming and rental availability also varies by title and geography; the ranking itself does not establish where any particular film is currently available.
