What does the series reveal about Prodigy and Weyland-Yutani?
Prodigy
Prodigy is led by founder and CEO Boy Kavalier. The company develops “hybrids”: humanoid robots infused with human consciousness. Wendy is the first hybrid prototype, described in the official synopsis as marking “a new dawn in the race for immortality.” The Disney+ guide to the series also identifies Kirsh as a Prodigy synthetic who helps train the first hybrids.
The show distinguishes hybrids from two other forms of technology: a synthetic is a humanoid robot with artificial intelligence, while a cyborg is a human with biological and artificial parts. Prodigy’s hybrid project puts human consciousness into a robotic body, a development that gives the company a consequential role in the story’s race to extend life.

Weyland-Yutani
Weyland-Yutani is the other corporation with a clearly described role in the official summaries. Its deep-space vessel, the USCSS Maginot, crashes into Prodigy City. The Disney+ guide identifies Morrow as a Weyland-Yutani employee and the ship’s chief security officer, assigned to retrieve its cargo. The crash brings the company’s mission and its cargo into direct contact with Prodigy.
What is known about Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold?
The official synopsis names Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold as members of the five-corporation group, but the reviewed official summaries do not identify their industries, leaders, territories, or relative influence. Assigning them specific roles would go beyond what those sources establish.
