Soul singer Alexander O’Neal and his wife, Cynthia, were taken to a hospital after a fire at their apartment complex in Burnsville, Minnesota, according to reports published December 6, 2025. The fire was reported early December 5 at the Willoway Apartments.
What happened at the Burnsville apartment complex?

In a follow-up published that day, TMZ relayed Cynthia O’Neal’s recollection that a fire involved the cord attached to Alexander’s oxygen machine, and that another fire was on the floor.
