The sources cited here do not confirm a current map location or active mode, so there is no reliable present-day route to give.
Is AI Darth Vader still in Fortnite?
Current availability is unconfirmed. Epic’s announcement documents the feature’s May 16, 2025 launch, while the location reports published that day describe the map as it was then—not the live game in October 2026. Check Epic’s current Fortnite announcements or the game itself before relying on old location instructions.
Epic introduced the interaction in collaboration with the family of James Earl Jones. In its announcement, Epic attributed this statement to the family: “James Earl felt that the voice of Darth Vader was inseparable from the story of Star Wars, and he always wanted fans of all ages to continue to experience it.” The announcement identified Google’s Gemini 2.0 Flash and ElevenLabs’ Flash v2.5 as technologies used for the feature; those are launch-announcement details, not confirmation of the current implementation. Where was Vader, and how did players talk to him?
Windows Central reported three locations on the May 2025 map, and GameSpot published launch-period interaction instructions. Because neither account establishes where—or whether—the character appears in the current game, those coordinates and controls should not be treated as current directions. If Vader returns, use an up-to-date Epic source or an in-game marker to locate him, then follow the interaction prompt and your configured chat controls.

The viral profanity and “Skibidi Toilet” exchanges are examples reported around launch, not guaranteed responses. GameSpot also reported a profanity-related hotfix at the time; that historical report does not show what safeguards or behavior apply now. - In Fortnite, open the main menu and go to Parental Controls.
- Online, open the child’s Epic Account Settings and find the AI communication permission.
Enable Allow voice and written communication with AI Features to allow that communication. Epic’s support article describes permission to communicate with AI features; it should not be read as a profanity filter or a guarantee that AI-generated dialogue cannot be inappropriate. See Epic’s instructions for allowing a child to talk to LLM-powered characters.
Epic’s broader parental controls also cover game chat. Its mature-language guidance applies to specified text and Game Channel contexts, but does not establish that AI character speech is always filtered. Check Epic’s current Parental Controls guidance for the scope of those settings.
