Agatha All Along ends with Billy Maximoff and ghostly Agatha setting out to find Tommy. The finale gives them a clear next goal, but it does not name a confirmed follow-up Marvel series or film.
What the Witches’ Road really was
The Road was not an ancient route that existed independently of its travelers. Billy created it with his magic, and its trials and appearance reflected his imagination and the objects and interests in his bedroom. Showrunner Jac Schaeffer said Billy’s limitations as a young witch helped make the Road feel constructed and practical rather than like an all-knowing, fully formed magical realm. TheWrap’s interview with Schaeffer and The Ringer’s finale analysis discuss the reveal.
Why Billy and Agatha leave to find Tommy
Agatha dies during her confrontation with Rio, but returns as a ghost. She agrees to guide Billy, and the two set off to find his brother, Tommy.
Billy has found Tommy’s soul and placed it in the body of a boy who nearly drowned. That is only the beginning of the search: Billy and Agatha still need to find the person Tommy will become. Their departure turns the finale’s emotional resolution into an open story thread, rather than a completed reunion. The Ringer details the closing setup.

Does the ending confirm another MCU project?
No specific next series or film is confirmed by the ending. In a November 1, 2024 interview with TheWrap, Schaeffer said, “I, as a fan, am so excited about this duo of Billy Maximoff and his spirit guide, Ghost Agatha. And I think that there’s a lot of opportunity there.” That signals enthusiasm for the pairing, not an announcement of where it will continue.
Schaeffer also said she knew about handoffs between Marvel properties but could not speak freely about them. That comment leaves room for future connections without identifying a project. The Ringer reported on November 1, 2024, that Marvel had not officially announced a direct follow-up; that is a report of the status on that date, not a guarantee about later announcements.

How the comics connect—and what they do not prove
The Ringer points readers toward the Young Avengers miniseries Avengers: The Children’s Crusade as relevant comic context for Billy and Tommy’s story. It is a useful place to explore the characters’ comic-book history, but it is not evidence that Marvel plans to adapt the miniseries. The MCU can change or leave out comic elements.
For viewers who want to revisit the series, Marvel’s official Agatha All Along page provides its synopsis and creator and cast information. It does not announce a continuation.
