AEW All In: London took place at Wembley Stadium on August 27, 2023. Here is a spoiler-forward ranking of all 11 matches, from least successful to strongest, judging each on structure and pacing, story and stakes, execution of its format, crowd response, and its contribution to the show. Those are editorial criteria, not an objective measure; Cagematch user scores offer one comparison point, not a universal verdict.

11. Jack Perry vs. HOOK — FTW Championship

The Zero Hour title bout had a straightforward personal conflict and a clear prize, but it had less room to develop than the longer, more layered matches on the card. It works as a compact opener to the event’s wrestling, though it leaves the smallest impression in this ranking.

10. The Mogul Embassy vs. Best Friends and the Lucha Brothers — six-man tag team match

This fast-moving team match supplied variety and a lively start to the main card. With six wrestlers sharing the ring, its action had less time to give each rivalry or participant a distinct arc than the strongest multi-person bouts later in the show.

9. MJF and Adam Cole vs. Aussie Open — ROH World Tag Team Championship

On Zero Hour, MJF and Cole’s uneasy partnership met the established team of Aussie Open. The match serves its purpose as a tag-title contest and introduces the central tension between its challengers, but the later MJF–Cole story beats carry more weight than the bout itself.

#1 Best Overall

8. Hikaru Shida vs. Toni Storm vs. Saraya vs. Britt Baker — AEW Women’s World Championship

The four-way title match offered a high-stakes, crowded format and a major homecoming moment for Saraya. She won the championship, as AEW’s official results record. The result gives the bout a memorable payoff, even if the four-way structure necessarily divides attention among its competitors.

7. Chris Jericho vs. Will Ospreay

Jericho and Ospreay brought a clear contrast in styles and star personas to a singles match with a substantial Wembley audience behind it. The contest has a recognizable shape and a decisive winner, but it does not reach the same emotional or structural heights as the card’s best stories.

6. Stadium Stampede — Blackpool Combat Club and associates vs. The Golden Elite and associates

The Stadium Stampede embraced its large-scale, anything-can-happen format rather than the tighter rhythm of a standard singles match. That makes it a useful change of pace on a long card and a natural vehicle for spectacle, although the sheer number of moving parts can make its action less focused.

5. FTR vs. The Young Bucks — AEW World Tag Team Championship

Two of the division’s defining teams met with the tag titles at stake, giving the match unusually clear stakes before the bell. Its appeal rests on the teams’ established rivalry and the disciplined tag structure; it is one of the card’s strongest conventional wrestling matches.

4. Darby Allin and Sting vs. Swerve Strickland and Christian Cage — Coffin Match

The Coffin Match made its stipulation central to the action, while pairing Sting and Allin against the dangerous combination of Strickland and Cage. The format creates an unmistakable objective and a different kind of suspense from the title bouts. POST Wrestling’s contemporaneous event coverage reports on the match and its story details.

3. CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe

Punk and Joe brought a long-running rivalry into a match with a simpler, more direct focus than the event’s multi-person spectacles. Cagematch lists this bout at 7.74 from 915 user votes, a useful snapshot of that site’s audience—not a score representing every All In viewer. The same event page gives the tag match featuring Bullet Club Gold, Konosuke Takeshita, and The Golden Elite 8.39 from 831 votes, illustrating that crowd ratings are one reference rather than a definitive ordering.

2. Bullet Club Gold and Konosuke Takeshita vs. The Golden Elite — eight-man tag team match

This eight-man bout combined a packed roster with clear factional stakes and kept the card’s momentum high. Its large cast could have blurred the action, but the shifting pairings and team identity give the match a strong collective shape. Cagematch’s 8.39 score from 831 votes is the higher of the two scores highlighted above; that remains a user-rating sample, not proof of an objective best match.

1. MJF vs. Adam Cole — AEW World Championship

The main event earns the top spot because its championship stakes and the uneasy friendship at its center reinforce one another. Rather than treating MJF and Cole’s story as an aside to the title, the match makes their relationship the reason the title contest matters. It also finds room for a dramatic interruption: the bout initially reached a draw after a double pin before continuing to its final result, as reflected in AEW’s official results. That combination of character, stakes, and payoff makes it the most complete match on the card.

Why the ranking is subjective

All In combined title contests, a four-way, a coffin stipulation, large tag matches, and a Stadium Stampede, so a single measure would privilege one kind of match over another. This list weighs pacing, story payoff, execution, audience response, and how each contest serves the whole show. AEW’s official event results are the reference for match outcomes; Fightful’s August 27 results coverage independently corroborates the card. Cagematch scores are attributed user ratings and should be read in that context.

A record-setting setting for the show

AEW said on August 27, 2023, that 81,035 fans from more than 70 countries attended and that the gate exceeded $10 million. Those are figures from AEW’s announcement, not independently audited totals; see AEW’s announcement. The scale of Wembley helps explain the event’s atmosphere, but it does not decide which match tells the best story.
