This was a December 8, 2024 story, not a confirmed October 2026 platform announcement. Insider Gaming reported that Adin Ross said he would step away from Kick indefinitely while focusing on getting reinstated on Twitch. Separately, Ludwig announced that he was returning to Twitch after a period of YouTube exclusivity. Those statements describe intentions and announcements at the time; they do not establish either creator’s current streaming schedule or contract.
What Adin Ross said about leaving Kick
In the December 8, 2024 report, Ross said he was stepping away from Kick indefinitely and would focus on seeking reinstatement on Twitch. He wrote: “With that being said, I am going to fully focus on being reinstated on Twitch. Thank you.” Insider Gaming reported the statement; it did not say Ross had already been reinstated when he made it.
That distinction matters: his statement described an intended focus and a bid to return, not a confirmed Twitch comeback or proof of a permanent departure from Kick.
Ludwig’s separate Twitch return announcement
Ludwig’s news was separate from Ross’s. Insider Gaming reported that Ludwig announced in a social video that he was returning to Twitch after a period of YouTube exclusivity. The report does not provide an exact, named-person quotation from Ludwig, so there is no basis here to put specific words in his mouth or infer details about a contract beyond the report’s description.

What changed after the 2024 headlines
The 2024 wording should not be read as a current, settled platform status. In a November 12, 2025 report, Dexerto described Ross as planning to use Twitch for “big streams” while criticizing Kick. That later account shows his platform plans continued to be discussed, but it does not establish a permanent, exclusive switch. Dexerto’s report is later context, not evidence of his current schedule.
What the available platform pages establish in October 2026
As checked on October 7, 2026, Kick still had public channel pages for Adin Ross and Ludwig. A discoverable channel page establishes that a page exists; it does not prove that its owner is actively streaming, has an exclusive deal, or is currently leaving or returning to a platform.
