Nicolas Cage’s former Las Vegas mansion was reported to have six bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, a theater room, an elevator and a 16-car underground garage. The home, at 5100 Spanish Heights Drive in the Spanish Hills area, became a headline-making property story when it was reported foreclosed and sold in 2010.
What was inside Nicolas Cage’s Las Vegas mansion?
Contemporary reports described the home as about 14,300 square feet. The listing brokerage gave a precise figure of 14,306 square feet; the Las Vegas Sun rounded it to 14,300. The reported features were:
- Six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms
- A 16-car subterranean garage
- An elevator
- A theater room
Those details suggest a large, amenity-rich property, but the contemporary coverage does not offer a verified room-by-room inventory, interior photographs, a floor plan, or a designer credit. There is no substantiated basis in these accounts for describing particular finishes or decor, or for attributing decorating choices to Cage.
Where was the property?
The mansion was identified in reports as 5100 Spanish Heights Drive, in Las Vegas’s Spanish Hills area. It is best understood as a former Cage home, not as a currently confirmed residence or visitor attraction.

What happened to the mansion?
The Las Vegas Sun reported that Cage bought the property in September 2006 for $8.5 million. In January 2010, it was reported as foreclosed and bank-owned. Luxury Homes of Las Vegas, the listing brokerage, announced a $4.95 million sale and said the home went under contract on its first day on the market. The Associated Press report carried by CBS News independently reported a sale near the $4.95 million asking price.
The two figures describe transactions at different times and under different circumstances: Cage’s reported 2006 purchase and the reported 2010 bank-owned sale. They should not be read as a current valuation or a like-for-like estimate of the home’s value today.

Can you visit or see the inside today?
The available contemporary accounts document the property’s reported features and its 2010-era sale, but do not establish its present owner, condition, or access arrangements. They also do not provide verified interior images. That means the reported amenities—not a walk-through of its rooms—are the dependable basis for describing what was inside.
