There is no definitive ranking of Dr. Phil’s most memorable guests. TheWrap’s February 2023 retrospective offers one useful selection: people and episodes that drew attention for a viral moment, a startling claim, an intense family conflict or a guest’s later public story. Here’s what made those appearances stand out—and what the available record does and doesn’t establish about them.
What makes a Dr. Phil appearance memorable?
The daytime series debuted on September 16, 2002, and was ending production after 21 seasons when TheWrap published its retrospective on February 24, 2023. TheWrap’s choices are an editorial selection, not a complete archive or an objective ranking of every guest. Its examples show several different kinds of television afterlife: a phrase that became a viral catchline, a clip that resurfaced online, an unusual claim, and episodes built around family or relationship conflict. TheWrap’s retrospective is the source for the episode descriptions and numbering below.

Guests and episodes that stayed in public conversation
Danielle Bregoli and “Catch Me Outside”
In Season 15, Episode 8, Danielle Bregoli became widely associated with the phrase “Catch me outside,” which TheWrap links to her viral breakthrough. She later became known publicly as Bhad Bhabie, a personality and rapper. That later career is part of the story, but the episode alone should not be treated as its explanation.
TheWrap also lists Bregoli’s return in Season 15, Episode 98. It says producers brought her back after the first appearance became a weeks-long viral sensation and recounts her comments to Dr. Phil during the follow-up. The return made the original moment part of a continuing on-air story rather than a single clip.

Noah and “Brat Camp”
TheWrap identifies Season 6, Episode 163 as part of a three-part 2008 Dr. Phil House story featuring Noah and his mother, Wendy. A clip of Noah arguing with and striking his mother later circulated online. Noah was ten during the episode, a detail worth keeping in view when revisiting a scene that can be startling out of context.
Haley’s claim about a pregnancy
In the Season 15, Episode 44 appearance listed by TheWrap, Haley claimed she was pregnant with Jesus Christ and that rapper Eminem was her father. The article says an ultrasound confirmed she was not pregnant. These are claims and an episode account as described by TheWrap, not a basis for treating the claims as verified biography.
Rank #2
Jael Strauss’s intervention
Jael Strauss, known from America’s Next Top Model, appeared in an intervention episode identified by TheWrap as Season 11, Episode 3, after concern about drug addiction. Strauss died on December 4, 2018, after breast cancer. Her life cannot be reduced to that television appearance; the episode is memorable in part because it sits within a much larger and difficult public story.
Other episodes remembered for their premise or conflict
TheWrap’s selection also points to episodes whose subjects were striking or contentious, rather than tied to one catchphrase. Its descriptions include Treasure Richards (Season 17, Episode 33), Cheyenne (Season 15, Episode 15), and a mother-daughter story framed around “sugar babies” (Season 13, Episode 44). Other entries concerned a dispute over video-game use (Season 14, Episode 124), a “party dad” (Season 14, Episode 52), and a pastor in a polygamous relationship (Season 14, Episode 69).

These examples reflect stories as presented on the show and summarized by TheWrap. A provocative premise or an allegation aired in a television episode should not be mistaken for an independently established finding.

Yes. A Dr. Phil Staff promotion published April 26, 2025, advertised an April 30 episode featuring former guests Chloe and Todd returning for updates. The page establishes that the program planned a follow-up, but promotional copy does not establish what happened in the episode. The official Dr. Phil website currently presents Primetime and daytime programming, podcasts and viewing information; the pages reviewed do not establish a complete archive of the older appearances discussed here.
