The official CoComelon character guide groups its roster around JJ, Cody, Nina and Cece, then introduces classmates, friends and other family members. Here’s who they are and how they’re connected, based on the roster shown on the official character guide as of October 4, 2026. “All” here means the characters on that guide—not every character in every episode, spin-off or crossover.
JJ and his family
JJ is the curious, determined central child in the official guide. His household includes his parents and siblings, as well as grandparents, a dog and a cuddly bear.
- TomTom: JJ’s older brother, who likes building and solving problems.
- YoYo: JJ’s older sister, described as creative and kind.
- Melissa: JJ’s warm, devoted mother.
- Patrick: JJ’s playful father, an architect and musician.
- Emilia and Ernest: JJ’s grandparents.
- Bingo: the family dog.
- Boba Bear: JJ’s cuddly bear.
Cody and his family
Cody is JJ’s best friend and neighbor. The guide describes him as a dinosaur enthusiast and a caring older brother.
- Kendi: Cody’s baby sister.
- Toni: Cody and Kendi’s mother, a pediatrician.
- Kwame: their father, a professional chef.
- Pickles: the family cat.
Nina and her family
The official guide describes Nina as a third-generation Mexican-American child who loves soccer (which the guide calls “fútbol”) and adventure. Her family includes her parents, siblings and grandmother, as well as a dog.

- Lulu: Cece’s kitten.

- Jellybean: the class hamster.

Why CoComelon character lists can differ
The official guide is a useful roster, but the franchise also includes spin-offs and collaborations. For example, Moonbug and Sanrio announced that CoComelon Playdates with Sanrio Friends would premiere globally on YouTube on January 24, 2026, featuring Sanrio characters including Hello Kitty and Pompompurin alongside JJ and his friends (Moonbug’s announcement). That crossover is one reason a list described as “all” characters needs a defined scope.
There is also a film planned for theaters in February 2027. In its September 2026 announcement, Moonbug identified Princess Harmony in a first-look image and said the announced celebrity cast voices new characters created for the film. The announcement names Connor Esterson as JJ, Camden Brooks as Cody, Olivia London Leyva as Nina and Aerina DeBoer as CeCe (Moonbug’s movie announcement). These film details are upcoming franchise context, not additional names in the current character-guide roster.
