A Record anunciou uma estreia acelerada para A Fazenda 16: de 16 a 22 de setembro de 2024, a programação previa provas, a entrada de participantes do Paiol, a primeira festa e o primeiro Rancho do Fazendeiro. Este é o cronograma anunciado para aquela semana, não uma agenda atual; a publicação da emissora não confirma que cada evento ocorreu sem alterações.

O anúncio organizava os acontecimentos por dia, mas não detalhava horários ou uma rotina diária de tarefas, refeições e cuidados com os animais. Record/R7, cronograma anunciado.
Como funcionaria a entrada pelo Paiol
A temporada começaria com 28 participantes anunciados: 20 entrariam diretamente na sede e oito ficariam no Paiol por alguns dias. Segundo a Record, o público escolheria quatro dos oito, sem distinção de gênero, para se juntar ao grupo da sede, que então teria 24 peões. Esses números descrevem o formato anunciado para a temporada, não uma pesquisa de audiência. Record/R7, panorama da temporada.
Por que a estreia foi montada em torno de provas
O diretor Rodrigo Carelli descreveu a sequência inicial como uma forma de pressionar os participantes a se posicionarem desde o começo: “Criamos uma semana que eles não têm como escapar de se posicionar. Uma sequência de provas com apontamentos.” Record/R7, declaração de Carelli.

A chegada à sede também foi anunciada como inédita: os peões chegariam de balão. A sede fica em Itapecerica da Serra, na Grande São Paulo. Outra novidade divulgada pela apresentadora Adriane Galisteu era aparecer em corpo inteiro num telão da sala principal, em vez de ser vista apenas em ocasiões como eliminações ou provas. O que o cronograma permite concluir
- A semana anunciada distribuía provas e eventos pelos sete dias, sem especificar uma rotina completa da convivência na sede.
- A entrada dos quatro escolhidos do Paiol era parte do formato de formação do elenco, e estava prevista para quinta-feira.
- A primeira festa estava prevista para sexta, com sua exibição e o pós-festa no sábado; o Rancho do Fazendeiro encerraria a programação anunciada no domingo.
