In the 2024 period, Manuel had relocated from Ecuador to the United States to be with Ashley, and TLC featured them as a married couple on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8. That historical answer should not be mistaken for their current relationship status: Ashley announced in September 2026 that she was asking Manuel for a divorce.
Where were Manuel and Ashley in 2024?
Manuel had moved from Ecuador to the United States to be with Ashley. Us Weekly says the show documented his relocation and reports that the couple married in 2022. TLC’s official Season 8 cast page listed Manuel as being from Ecuador and Ashley as being from New York, and included them among the couples featured in the 2024 season.
TLC’s page described them as married for over a year and teased relationship secrets as part of the show’s storyline. That is promotional copy about the program, not independent confirmation of private details or a precise account of where they lived day to day.
What changed after 2024?
On September 7, 2026, Ashley publicly said she was asking Manuel for a divorce. Us Weekly reproduced her wedding-anniversary caption: “What a shame, tomorrow is our 4 year anniversary and I’m officially asking for a divorce.” TV Insider/Swooon and Us Weekly reported the announcement.

Ashley said she had felt unsupported for years, including during a vulnerable period. Us Weekly reported that she was recovering from abdominoplasty and breast augmentation surgery. Those are Ashley’s stated reasons; the reports do not independently establish every cause of the relationship’s breakdown.
Does that mean Manuel has left the United States?
No conclusion about his current address follows from the divorce announcement. The cited reports do not establish whether Manuel currently lives with Ashley, elsewhere in the United States, or in Ecuador. They also report Ashley asking for a divorce, not a verified court filing or completed divorce.
