What is known about the $36 million price?
The exact $36 million amount in the headline is not supported by the cited reports. Aeropodium Expert said Carrey bought a Gulfstream V in 2006 for about $40 million. That is an approximate historical purchase-price report, not a current valuation. In 2018, Air Charter Service reported the jet’s value as £41.6 million; that figure is in pounds, is from a different year, and is not established as a present-day appraisal.
