For a mystery with a comic setup, consider A Man on the Inside; for a college-set social drama, Cruel Intentions or The Sex Lives of College Girls. Outlander offers a historical drama, while Based on a True Story brings crime into a family story. Among the films, choose The Piano Lesson for a family conflict, The Merry Gentlemen for holiday romance, Blitz for wartime drama, or Joy for a biographical story. These are premise-based distinctions, not a ranking or a quality comparison.
