How does Buck handle the breakup?
Oliver Stark, who plays Buck, said the character channels heartbreak into positive hobbies “pretty much to an obsessive degree.” Stark added that other people around Buck notice, creating lighthearted scenes for the cast. The preview frames the baking as both a coping strategy and a source of humor.
What does the preview say about Maddie’s pregnancy diet?
The preview’s headline refers to Maddie’s pregnancy diet, but the accessible excerpt gives no specific foods, rules, or medical context. It therefore does not establish what Maddie eats or whether she follows any particular dietary plan. The fictional mention should not be treated as pregnancy nutrition advice.

Which episode is this, and what came later?
The baking story is about season 8, episode 7, “Hotshots,” which aired November 14, 2024. It is not a preview of the current season. For separate series context, ABC’s listing for season 9, episode 17, “I Got You Babe,” gives the air date as May 1, 2026 and a runtime of 42:57; its synopsis says Buck faces his past after an electrical emergency call while Maddie navigates working relationships as a supervisor. Those events are from a later episode, not “Hotshots.”
ABC describes 9-1-1 as a drama about first responders and identifies Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley and Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley on its series page. The page lists a season 10 premiere date of October 15, 2026; network schedules and availability can change.
