What was on the October 24, 2025 watchlist?
The original list mixed horror, suspense, crime drama and documentary. The titles and platform labels below reflect TechRadar’s article, not a confirmation of present-day availability or release timing.

| IT: Welcome to Derry | Horror prequel series; Pennywise returns, with visual detail and callbacks for fans of the films. | HBO Max |
| A House of Dynamite | Political thriller film; officials respond to an apparent nuclear missile attack on the United States, told from multiple perspectives. | Netflix |

| The Hand That Rocks the Cradle | Horror film, a 2025 reworking of the 1992 movie; a nanny’s identity and intentions drive the suspense. | Hulu in the US; Disney+ internationally, as listed in the article |
| Mayor of Kingstown, season 4 | Crime drama series; the McClusky family faces a power vacuum in Kingstown. | Paramount+ |
| Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost | Documentary by Ben Stiller about his parents, comedians Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. | Apple TV |
Which pick fits your mood?
For horror and suspense
IT: Welcome to Derry and Weapons are the list’s horror choices. The former is a prequel tied to the Pennywise films; the latter builds its mystery around a classroom disappearance. The Hand That Rocks the Cradle offers a more intimate nanny-centered suspense story.
For a thriller or mystery
A House of Dynamite takes a political-crisis premise and follows officials from multiple perspectives. Harlan Coben’s Lazarus instead blends a family mystery with supernatural elements.

What to know about release dates and availability
The word “new” in the original headline described a weekend list published October 24, 2025; it should not be read as a current October 2026 release guide. Rotten Tomatoes’ October 2026 streaming calendar, published October 5, 2026, is a separate current-month reference and does not validate these older picks as new releases.

One timing detail in the old article is internally inconsistent: its Mayor of Kingstown passage refers to “this Sunday, October 3,” despite publication on October 24, 2025. That date is not reliable enough to use as a premiere date here.
