Looking for new TV shows coming out next week? For October 12–18, 2026, the clearest confirmed picks include two complete anime seasons on Hulu and new releases on Disney+ and Hulu. This U.S.-focused roundup spans new series and returning seasons; the schedule does not establish a reliable ranking. Netflix and Peacock entries are included with a source caveat because their dates were not confirmed directly by those services.

What to know about this week’s picks
Two full anime seasons arrive on Hulu
Hulu Press lists both Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill and the dubbed first season of Haikyu!! as complete-season additions on October 12. That makes them distinct from premieres scheduled as a single episode or a small batch.
Two different kinds of premiere on October 14
The Lowdown returns for season 2 on Hulu, while VisionQuest premieres as a new series on Disney+. For The Lowdown, Disney+ Press specifies two episodes at 6 p.m. PT; Hulu Press describes the complete season as arriving that day. Because those descriptions differ, check Hulu’s listing for the actual episode availability before planning a binge.

Netflix dates have a source caveat
Tom’s Guide lists Tyson, season 11 of Love Is Blind, season 4 of The Diplomat and Hollywood Arts during this week. Netflix’s official October 2026 lineup did not expose those specific entries in the available listing, so treat the dates and details as reported rather than directly confirmed by Netflix.

The HBO schedule in this set does not establish a series premiere during October 12–18. HBO lists Kate Berlant: Parmesan for October 16 at 9 p.m., but it is a comedy special, not a TV series. The Pet Cemetery Murders: A Ghost Story is listed for October 11, outside this week’s date range. HBO schedule

How to choose what to watch
- For a complete season on the listed date, start with either Hulu anime release on October 12.
- For a new series, VisionQuest has a Disney+ premiere listing for October 14; Hollywood Arts and Crystal Lake are also reported as premieres, but their dates are not directly confirmed by their services here.
- For returning dramas, the Hulu listings confirm October 16 availability for 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey’s Anatomy; those episodes follow their ABC premieres.
- If you are choosing a Netflix title, check Netflix’s own listing close to release day because the dates above rely on Tom’s Guide rather than a confirmed Netflix schedule entry.
