Apple lists Apple TV 4K as one viewing option, alongside supported smart TVs, streaming devices, game consoles, computers, and web access. A dedicated Apple TV 4K device is optional; the hardware is not required to watch the service. The catalogue page currently displays a US offer of seven days free, then $14.99 per month; trial terms and pricing can change, so check Apple’s current offer before subscribing.
Apple’s UK catalogue provides regional context, but release dates and availability should be checked for the viewer’s market rather than assumed to match the US schedule.
