A BGR article published April 29, 2025, reported that 33 titles were scheduled to leave Netflix on May 1, 2025. That deadline is historical: the report does not establish what is on Netflix today or what is available in your country.
Which 33 titles were named?
BGR’s April 29, 2025 report listed these titles as scheduled to leave Netflix on May 1, 2025:

Does the May 1 deadline apply to Netflix now?
No. The date in the headline referred to May 1, 2025, not an upcoming May 1. A past departure notice does not confirm whether any of these films is currently available, has since returned, or is leaving again. Netflix catalogs and removal dates can vary by country, so check the individual title in your local Netflix account before planning a watch.
Why were the titles scheduled to leave?
BGR described monthly departures as commonly connected to licensing expirations. Its report did not document the specific rights decision for each film, and it did not promise that any title would return. A departure from Netflix also does not, by itself, establish where else a film can be watched.

How to keep watching a favorite
If a film is no longer available in your catalog, check current services or retailers for that exact title and country. Buying a physical edition can be an option for lasting access; confirm the edition and the current listing before purchasing. The 2025 report did not verify specific editions or current availability elsewhere.
