The Academy of Country Music and Dick Clark Productions announced the 60th ACM Awards nominations on March 27, 2025. Ella Langley led with eight nominations; Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen each received seven. These were nominations, not wins—the ceremony took place on May 8, 2025.
Ella Langley: eight nominations
Langley was a first-time ACM nominee. Two nominations were in individual artist categories; six were tied to “you look like you love me,” her collaboration with Riley Green. The Academy’s count includes separate artist, songwriter and director credits in relevant categories.
- Female Artist of the Year
- New Female Artist of the Year
- Single of the Year: “you look like you love me” (with Riley Green)
- Song of the Year: “you look like you love me” (artist and songwriter credits)
- Music Event of the Year: “you look like you love me” (with Riley Green)
- Visual Media of the Year: “you look like you love me” (artist and director credits)
The official nomination announcement lists the category nominations and explains the credits behind the total.
Cody Johnson: seven nominations
Johnson was nominated in both major artist categories. His remaining nominations were connected to “Dirt Cheap” and “I’m Gonna Love You,” his collaboration with Carrie Underwood.

Why song credits affect the nomination totals
The totals are counts of nominations and credited roles, not simply the number of different songs or categories. A work can appear in multiple award classes, and some categories recognize more than one credited person. For example, “you look like you love me” accounted for six of Langley’s nominations across four award classes, with artist, songwriter and director credits represented in the count. The Academy likewise counts Wallen’s artist and songwriter Song of the Year credits separately.
