How the categories differ
The Fiction and Nonfiction Book of the Year awards are distinct from the First Book awards in those same genres. The business category recognized Chhabra’s book, while Publisher of the Year recognized Pan Macmillan India as a publishing house. These are category winners, not a single ranking across all the books.
For readers looking for a particular winner, search by the exact book title and author. The award reports identify titles, authors, and publishers; they do not establish current retailer stock, formats, prices, or regional availability.
