DMX tops Tuko.co.ke’s list of 20 Hollywood celebrities with the most children, with a reported total of 17—but the same article later says he fathered 15. Because that conflict is unresolved, 17 should be treated as the table’s figure, not a settled count. The list was updated January 19, 2026, and is a reported ranking rather than a definitive worldwide record.
How to read the ranking
The figures below reproduce Tuko.co.ke’s reported totals and ranking, with its update date of January 19, 2026. The article says it used sources such as IMDb, but does not give a transparent, entry-by-entry citation trail. It also mixes family configurations. The figures should therefore be read as that article’s counts, not independently reconciled totals.

Adopted children are included where the source describes them; for example, Angelina Jolie’s six children include adopted and biological children. The source does not consistently specify whether stepchildren are included or whether every total counts children who died in infancy. These are reported totals, not counts of living children.

Why family-count rules change the comparison
Adopted children
Jolie is a clear example of a total that combines different paths to parenthood. Biography.com describes her as a mother to six adopted and biological children: Maddox, Pax, and Zahara were adopted, while Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne are biological children. The source’s count is therefore not a biological-children-only figure.
#1 Best Overall
Children who died in infancy
Published totals can also differ depending on whether they count children who died young or report only living children. In an account updated April 16, 2025, Biography.com said Elon Musk had at least 14 children, including Nevada, who died at 10 weeks, and reported 13 living children. That example illustrates the counting distinction; it does not update or expand the 20-person Hollywood list above.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is DMX the celebrity with the most children?
Within Tuko.co.ke’s table, DMX is listed first at 17. But the same page later says he fathered 15 children before his death. Since the article does not resolve the difference, the strongest supported answer is that Tuko ranks him first while its exact count is inconsistent.
Rank #2
The list should not be read as a comprehensive global record. Tuko’s accompanying answer also mentions Pavel Durov and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, who are not included in its 20-person table. The scope is the celebrities selected for that list, not every public figure worldwide.
