These 14 actor pairings have credited parts in at least two distinct feature films together. The examples include repeat co-stars, franchise collaborators and performers who reunited years later; they are a curated selection, not a ranking or a complete count of film history. A shared credit alone does not mean two actors were co-leads or shared substantial screen time. The film examples are drawn from CinemaBlend’s 2024 editorial list, and cameo and voice credits are identified where relevant.
Actors who starred together in multiple movies
“Worked together” can mean different things: two actors may share a scene, appear in separate parts of an ensemble, return for a sequel, or contribute voice performances to the same animated film. The pairings below meet the basic threshold of credited roles in multiple feature films, but the examples are not a title-by-title audit of billing or screen time.
IMDb’s official IMDbPro Discover help page describes a collaboration filter this way: “The Collaborations search option finds people who all worked on multiple projects (up to 3).” That tool’s limit describes the product, not the size or frequency of actor collaborations across film history. Counts also depend on whether an editor includes cameos, voice roles, television movies or franchise entries; Rotten Tomatoes, for example, has used different inclusion rules for its own repeat on-screen-couple comparison.

The titles in each entry are examples reported by CinemaBlend’s 2024 list. They are presented as a guide to recurring collaborations, not as independently verified totals or a ranking.

1. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
Their shared films include Mean Girls, Baby Mama and Sisters. Their well-known partnership also extends to television and awards hosting, but those appearances are outside a feature-film list.
2. Robert De Niro and Al Pacino
The pair’s cited shared films include The Godfather Part II, Heat, Righteous Kill and The Irishman. Their reputations as major screen actors can make the number of shared films feel surprisingly small; the list illustrates why cultural association and filmography count are not the same thing.
3. Julia Roberts and George Clooney
Roberts and Clooney have appeared together in the Ocean’s films, as well as Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Money Monster and Ticket to Paradise. The franchise entries are shared credits in their own right, distinct from their collaborations outside it.

7. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart

8. Sanaa Lathan and Taye Diggs
Their shared films include The Wood, The Best Man, its sequel and Brown Sugar. They also appeared together in The Best Man: The Final Chapters, but that is a television miniseries, not a feature film.

10. Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman
Berry and Jackman appeared in several X-Men films, as well as Swordfish and Movie 43. The exact number of shared franchise entries depends on which films and cameo appearances are included, so no single total is asserted here.

The pair share the films Crazy Rich Asians and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, bringing them together in two different ensemble stories.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why shared-film counts can differ
- Feature films versus television: A miniseries such as The Best Man: The Final Chapters or a series such as Grace and Frankie is not a feature film.
- Live-action versus voice roles: Animated credits such as Kung Fu Panda 2 and the Puss in Boots films count as film work, but they do not establish shared on-screen scenes.
- Cameos and minor credits: A credit may qualify a pair under a broad filmography rule without showing substantial interaction. IMDb cautions that cast order is not a reliable way to identify lead actors.
- Different editorial rules: Lists may include or exclude sequels, cameos or films in which performers do not share scenes. Rotten Tomatoes’ repeat-couples feature, for example, excluded The Private Lives of Pippa Lee from its Winona Ryder–Keanu Reeves pairing because they shared no screen time.
For a wider illustration of the counting issue, The Ringer described director Sydney Pollack and actor Robert Redford as collaborating on seven films across 25 years, including The Way We Were, Three Days of the Condor and Out of Africa. That is a director–actor partnership, not an actor pair, but it shows why a filmography tally should be read alongside the roles and the kind of collaboration involved.
Sources and scope
The examples above are attributed to CinemaBlend’s “32 Acting Duos That Have Worked Together Multiple Times”, published August 26, 2024. CinemaBlend’s list is an editorial selection, not a primary credit database, so the titles here should not be treated as a verified ranking or definitive filmography for each pair.
The counting distinctions are informed by IMDb’s IMDbPro Discover help page, Rotten Tomatoes’ feature on repeat on-screen couples and The Ringer’s discussion of recurring director–actor teams.
