What was reported about the operation
In its June 10, 2025 interview with Dr. Rubin, Parade reported that more than 10 pounds of skin were removed from Tammy’s neck, abdomen, and arms. That figure describes her individual case as reported by the outlet; it is not a general expectation, medical recommendation, or substitute for a complete surgical record.
What Tammy had said before surgery
A September 10, 2024 PEOPLE report syndicated by Yahoo said Tammy had described feeling uncomfortable with excess skin and hoping to qualify for its removal. The same report said her bariatric surgery took place in July 2022 and that she had lost about 500 pounds since beginning her journey. Those dates and the weight-loss figure are details reported about Tammy’s experience, not a standard outcome for other people.
