Sisters star Amy Slaton married Brian Lovvorn on Halloween, October 31, 2025, at Talbott Tavern in Bardstown, Kentucky. The intimate celebration paired a Victorian-inspired look with handmade artwork and moon motifs at a venue the couple chose for its reputation as a haunted inn.
Why Amy and Brian chose a Halloween wedding
The date and setting fit the couple’s interest in spooky places. They chose Talbott Tavern because it is said to be haunted, echoing their engagement at Henderson Haunts in Henderson, Kentucky. The tavern’s haunting is local lore, not a verified paranormal claim.
People reported that Amy and Brian met at a concert in a park. They became engaged at Henderson Haunts in winter 2024, after five months of dating; Amy’s sisters Tammy and Misty witnessed the proposal.
A Victorian-inspired celebration at Talbott Tavern
Amy described the wedding palette as “Victorian meets light gray meets dusty blue and white.” The intimate, old-timey celebration also featured handmade art by Amy and moon motifs. Her gown had flower and vine details in its beading.

Amy said Brian had asked her to dye her hair a “special color.” Although she had previously told People he wanted pink hair and she wanted a Victorian-style updo, the wedding report did not identify the color she wore that day.
The ceremony, vows and wedding party
Friend Billy officiated, and Amy’s friend Ollisha Davis, also known as Lee Lee, served as maid of honor. Amy and Brian exchanged traditional vows and did not see one another on the wedding day until Amy’s processional.

What guests ate at the reception
The reception menu included barbecue pork and country-fried steak. The couple served a geode-style wedding cake along with cupcakes in bananas-and-cream, cookies-and-cream, and salted-caramel dark-chocolate flavors. What Brian said about their next chapter
Brian described marriage as “a promise to spend the rest of our days trying to make each other’s days as good as they can be, whatever that means and at any given time.” Looking ahead, he said, “The next chapter is Amy continuing to do art and hopefully I can start to cover sports while doing some kind of writing.”
