Zodyl Typhon is the strongest overall Gachiakuta character currently supported by the manga’s combat evidence. His combination of Mishra’s physical adaptability, elite fighting ability, strategic planning, and battlefield control gives him the most complete threat profile. Fu and Hii have the best argument for an upset through overwhelming close-range force, while Enjin is the most reliable all-around Cleaner.

Spoiler warning: This article discusses manga developments well beyond the anime’s opening material, including major Raider and Cleaner battles, Vital Instrument reveals, Watchman Series information, and character motives.
How this ranking works
This is an editorial power ranking, not an official Gachiakuta scale. The order weighs demonstrated victories and exchanges, destructive output, speed, durability, Vital Instrument versatility, tactical intelligence, and the ability to threaten other high-level Givers. Popularity, narrative importance, and team usefulness are not the deciding factors.

That distinction matters. A fighter with a spectacular but conditional transformation can rank below someone with a slightly lower ceiling but more reliable tools. The manga is also still developing, so the positions in the middle of the list are considerably more debatable than the general top tier.

1. Zodyl Typhon
Zodyl is the strongest overall character in the current manga ranking. He does not rely on a single impressive attack. His advantage comes from combining an unusually adaptable Vital Instrument, elite combat ability, strategic intelligence, and the authority to shape an entire battlefield before the fight properly begins.
His Vital Instrument, Mishra, allows him to alter his physical traits according to what he consumes. The resulting adaptations can produce offensive appendages, flight, enhanced physical characteristics, and other biological answers to an opponent’s strengths. That makes Zodyl difficult to prepare for: a strategy that works against one version of his body may become ineffective after he changes it.
Zodyl is also the leader of the Raiders, and his threat extends well beyond one-on-one exchanges. He has shown the planning ability to isolate, exhaust, and manipulate Cleaner teams instead of simply confronting them at full strength. His involvement with artificial Trash Beasts and his knowledge of the Watchman Series suggest that he understands the conflict on a deeper strategic level than a normal frontline fighter.

Why he ranks first: Zodyl has the strongest total package. Fu and Hii may produce a more immediately explosive close-range display, but Zodyl has fewer obvious limitations. He can adapt his body, attack from different ranges, use preparation and deception, and force opponents to fight on unfavorable terms. His combination of ceiling and consistency makes him the safest choice for number one.
2. Fu Orostor / Hii
Fu can look deceptively limited until Hii takes control through their pact. When that transformation occurs, Fu’s body becomes an exceptionally powerful close-combat weapon, and the change is not merely physical. Hii’s influence removes much of Fu’s hesitation, allowing that strength to be used with a far more aggressive and decisive mindset.
Hii’s best showing is among the most explosive direct-combat feats in the series. Hii broke Jabber’s arm with a single attack, launched him through structures, and continued striking with enough force to damage the surrounding road and Trash Beasts. The sequence establishes a frightening level of impact power, speed, and sustained aggression.
That performance gives Fu and Hii a legitimate argument for the top spot, particularly in a confined fight where Hii can get into striking range. The uncertainty is about access and reliability. The ranking has to account for the conditions that allow Hii to take control, how long the transformed state can be maintained, and whether Fu can consistently reach that level without the right order or circumstance.
Recommended Free Tools
Why they rank second: Hii has one of the highest direct-combat ceilings in the manga, but Zodyl is a more dependable all-purpose threat. If future chapters show that Fu can call on Hii freely and consistently, this is the entry most likely to challenge the current number-one position.
3. Enjin
Enjin is the most dependable high-level Cleaner on this list. He has the experience to read a dangerous situation quickly, the instincts to make correct decisions under pressure, and a Vital Instrument that supports nearly every phase of a fight.
Rank #2
Umbreaker can serve as a shield, an aerial mobility tool, a long-range weapon, and a high-speed drill. That versatility prevents opponents from solving Enjin with one defensive approach. He can protect himself, reposition through the air, pressure targets from a distance, or convert the instrument into a devastating finishing attack such as Octa-Shredder.
His manga feats support that versatility. Enjin has destroyed multiple Trash Beasts with ease, sent Jabber crashing into walls, and drilled through the interior of a gigantic flying Trash Beast. Later material also identifies Time Walk as a Watchman Series piece. That additional perception-and-mobility option raises Enjin’s ceiling further and gives him tools that go beyond the already broad capabilities of Umbreaker.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWhy he ranks third: Enjin may not have Zodyl’s preparation or Hii’s explosive transformation, but he is less matchup-dependent than almost anyone else. His mobility, durability, leadership, ranged pressure, defensive options, and experience make him the most reliable all-around combatant among the Cleaners.
4. Tamsy Caines
Tamsy’s apparent role as a support-oriented Giver hides how dangerous he can become when he controls the conditions of a fight. His Vital Instrument, Tokushin, is based around a distaff and thread, but it is not limited to simple binding. The thread can restrain, track, manipulate, and attack through positioning and precision.
That flexibility is amplified by Tamsy’s observational ability. Official character material presents him as calm and exceptionally perceptive, and the manga repeatedly emphasizes his technical attention to detail. He is the sort of opponent who studies how a target moves, identifies the weakness in a technique, and turns the environment into part of the trap.
Later manga developments also reveal that Tamsy’s apparently helpful persona conceals a much more sinister intent. That revelation changes how earlier scenes can be read: his restraint and patience are not signs that he lacks offensive ability. They are evidence that he is willing to wait for a more advantageous moment.
Why he ranks fourth: Tokushin gives Tamsy control over space and movement, making him one of the hardest characters to fight on his terms. His direct durability and completed combat ceiling are not documented as clearly as Enjin’s, which keeps him below the top three. His preparation, precision, and hidden threat nevertheless put him above most conventional fighters.
5. Rudo Surebrec
Rudo is ranked fifth because this list separates current combat consistency from future potential. If the question were which character could eventually become the strongest, Rudo would have one of the best answers in the entire series.
His ability, 3R, allows him to draw out the value and power of discarded or broken objects. Instead of treating trash as useless material, Rudo can give objects life and access the powers hidden within them. His gloves and other improvised weapons therefore give him an unusually broad arsenal. His equipment is not fixed in the way a conventional weapon is; the objects available to him can change the way he approaches a fight.
That adaptability is central to Gachiakuta’s larger conflict. Rudo’s power connects directly to the series’ ideas about discarded things, while his connection to the Watchman Series gives his growth additional significance. He has also progressed from an inexperienced fighter into someone capable of facing increasingly dangerous Givers and Trash Beasts.

Rank #3
Why he ranks fifth: Rudo’s ceiling is extraordinary, but he does not yet have the experience, consistency, or reliably available arsenal of the four characters above him. His performance can depend on which objects are present, how well he understands them, and whether he has time to adapt. That keeps him at number five for now while leaving him with the highest upward trajectory on the list.
6. Jabber Wonger
Jabber is one of the manga’s most dangerous pure combat specialists. His Vital Instrument, Mankira, transforms his rings into claw-like weapons that carry neurotoxins and other poisons. Its awakened form increases the weapon’s size and range, making a fighter who is already dangerous up close even harder to approach or escape.
Jabber’s physical advantages are just as important as the poison. He is fast, agile, exceptionally durable, and willing to continue fighting through serious injuries. Pain and damage do not reliably end his attacks; in some encounters, they appear to make him more enthusiastic about prolonging the battle.
His confrontation with Hii demonstrates both his toughness and the danger of his fighting style. Jabber can overwhelm multiple Cleaners, keep pressing after taking punishment, and turn one successful close-range cut into a potentially decisive poison attack. A clean hit can allow him to defeat an opponent who is stronger than he is in raw physical terms.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Why he ranks sixth: Jabber’s lethality is real, but it is most effective when he can force close-range access. His aggression can also become predictable against a patient and highly tactical opponent. Characters with superior battlefield control, transformation options, or ranged pressure have better ways to deny his preferred fight, which keeps him below the top five.
7. Hyo
Hyo is the most difficult character on this list to evaluate through conventional Gachiakuta power-scaling rules. The manga has not documented a Vital Instrument for her, yet her natural fighting ability is exceptional enough to place her above several experienced Givers.
During Hell Guard training, Hyo defeated every student in her class, including Zanka at a time when he was regarded as the leading trainee. Her fighting style is unusual and difficult to read, allowing her to overcome opponents with years of formal training. She became a benchmark for Zanka’s development precisely because his technical knowledge and practiced handling were not enough to solve her approach.
Hyo’s placement is therefore based on demonstrated technique rather than supernatural versatility. She reads exchanges well, creates awkward angles, and turns an opponent’s expectations against them. Her lack of a documented Vital Instrument makes her accomplishments more impressive, but it also limits the range of evidence available for a comparison with characters who can destroy large Trash Beasts or manipulate the battlefield.
Why she ranks seventh: Hyo is an elite natural fighter, but the current record gives her fewer large-scale feats and fewer answers to specialized abilities than the Givers above her. Against another martial artist, she could perform above this ranking. Against a prepared opponent with wide-area or psychological control, the lack of a demonstrated Vital Instrument becomes a significant disadvantage.
8. Riyo Reaper
Riyo’s playful personality can obscure how pragmatic she is once a fight begins. She uses her Ripper scissors with her feet, turning movement, balance, and precision into her primary weapons. The result is a close-range style that looks unconventional but is highly efficient when she can dictate distance.

Her footwork lets her attack from unexpected angles, reposition quickly, and make precise decisions under pressure. She is not simply relying on agility for show; her entire fighting method is built around making the opponent react to attacks that do not come from the expected hand position.
Her battles with Noerde and Jabber demonstrate that she can operate against Raider-level opponents. Those encounters also show why matchup conditions matter. Riyo can exploit openings against larger or less precise fighters, but poison, extreme durability, and an opponent’s ability to deny close-range movement can reduce the value of her technique.
Why she ranks eighth: Riyo is one of the cast’s best technical fighters and can defeat opponents above her nominal tier when her mobility controls the exchange. Her effective range is narrower than that of characters with transformation, thread control, flight, or large-scale attacks, so she ranks below the more versatile fighters.
9. Zanka Nijiku
Zanka is the Cleaners’ most technically proficient Vital Instrument handler. Enjin identifies him as the best among the Cleaners at handling Vital Instruments, and Zanka’s control of Lovely Assistaff reflects years of practice rather than simple brute force.
His toolkit includes speed, strength, vibration sensing, tactical analysis, and precise manipulation of the staff. He can use information gathered through vibration to understand an opponent’s movement and the surrounding space. That makes him particularly effective against fighters who depend on predictable positioning.
Zanka is also an excellent analyst of unfamiliar abilities. He can quickly infer how a new Vital Instrument works and develop countermeasures rather than wasting time testing the same defense repeatedly. His technical knowledge allows him to perform above his raw physical statistics, especially when he has enough information to construct a plan.

He ranks below Riyo because Jabber’s early and later showings establish a more consistent physical edge over him, even though Zanka’s tactics can narrow or occasionally close that gap under favorable conditions. His lower position is not a judgment that he lacks skill; it reflects the difference between technical mastery and overwhelming combat output.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.10. Amo Empool
Amo earns the final place because her ability can defeat physically stronger opponents before a conventional fight even starts. Her boots are part of the Watchman Series and allow her to manipulate fragrance. Those scents can induce emotions and evoke memories, including causing a target to associate Amo with someone emotionally important to them.
This is psychological control rather than ordinary striking power. An opponent who is confused, emotionally redirected, or unable to recognize the threat may never get the chance to use their superior speed or strength. In the right circumstances, Amo’s ability is closer to a fight-ending status effect than a normal attack.
Her limitations are equally important. The known scent repertoire is linked to her life experience, so it is not an unlimited menu of effects. The ability also has clearer situational constraints than the more consistently destructive instruments above her. An opponent who understands the effect, resists it, keeps distance, or prevents her from establishing the relevant condition may be able to neutralize much of her advantage.
Best Value
Why she ranks tenth: Amo is included because a ranking based only on physical destruction would underestimate her. She can threaten fighters who would overpower her in a direct exchange. However, her current versatility and reliability are lower than those of the nine combatants above her, making number ten the fairest placement.
Notable exclusions and close calls
The final spot was not uncontested. Several characters could move into the top ten depending on whether the ranking emphasizes raw physicality, specialized abilities, or future development.
- Noerde: A credible alternative to Amo, combining close-quarters skill and durability with electrical attacks through Mirei. She has a stronger conventional combat profile, but Amo’s psychological control gives her a more distinctive route to defeating stronger opponents.
- Guita: Her transformation provides considerable strength and durability. The currently documented material, however, contains fewer decisive exchanges against top-tier opponents than the ten selected characters.
- Semiu: Strategically invaluable and equipped with perception-based abilities, but this list prioritizes direct combat capacity rather than team utility or intelligence-gathering value.
- Kyouka and Goka: Hell Guard figures with credible claims to inclusion. Their current documented feats are less extensive than those of the selected Givers, so they remain close calls rather than clear omissions.
The most arguable section is the middle: Tamsy, Rudo, Jabber, Hyo, Riyo, and Zanka can shift depending on whether a reader values preparation, potential, poison, technical skill, or reliable large-scale output. The top three are easier to defend because their combat records and toolkits are more clearly established.
Where to start the manga
This ranking contains reveals well beyond the anime’s opening material, including Raider and Cleaner battles, Vital Instrument developments, Watchman Series information, and character motives. Readers who want the story behind these rankings can begin with Gachiakuta Volume 1 in paperback or Kindle format. Availability, edition, and shipping vary by country, and buying the manga is not required to follow the ranking.

The publisher’s retail information includes options such as Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Bookshop, Kinokuniya, Penguin Random House, Powell’s, and Walmart, although stock and regional availability can change.
Final ranking verdict
Zodyl Typhon is the best overall number one because he combines power with adaptation, preparation, leadership, and battlefield control. Fu and Hii have the strongest case for an upset if their explosive transformed state proves more accessible and reliable. Enjin is the safest all-around Cleaner, while Rudo has the greatest long-term potential.
The lower half should not be treated as a fixed official hierarchy. Jabber can be devastating if he reaches striking range, Hyo can outperform instrument users through technique, Riyo and Zanka are exceptional matchup fighters, and Amo can bypass physical advantages with psychological control. Their exact order depends heavily on the conditions of the fight.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Zodyl officially the strongest Gachiakuta character?
No. Gachiakuta does not provide an official numbered power scale for these characters. Zodyl is the editorial number one because he combines high combat ability with adaptability, preparation, strategic intelligence, and battlefield control. Fu and Hii have a credible claim to a higher explosive ceiling, but their transformation appears more conditional.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed

Why is Rudo only ranked fifth?
Rudo has exceptional potential, but this ranking measures current combat consistency rather than future ceiling. His 3R ability is highly adaptable, yet his available objects, experience, and understanding of each improvised Vital Instrument can affect his performance. That places him below the established top four for now.
Can Amo defeat characters who are physically stronger than her?
Yes, under the right conditions. Amo’s Watchman Series boots manipulate fragrance, allowing her to induce emotions and evoke memories. That psychological effect can disable or redirect a physically stronger opponent before a normal fight begins. Her known repertoire and situational limitations prevent her from ranking higher overall.
Is this ranking based on popularity or official character importance?
No. The list ranks demonstrated current combat ability, not popularity, narrative importance, or usefulness to a team. Semiu, for example, is strategically invaluable because of perception-based abilities, but the ranking prioritizes direct combat capacity. The order may also change as the manga reveals more feats and abilities.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Zodyl is the strongest current all-around Gachiakuta character, Hii has the most explosive close-range ceiling, Enjin is the most reliable Cleaner, and Rudo is the character most likely to climb the ranking as the manga continues.
