But a dated snapshot of FlixPatrol’s worldwide Netflix chart puts East of Eden, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and eight other titles among the platform’s current leaders on October 7, 2026. The list is a third-party daily Netflix ranking—not a combined chart for every service or country.
10 shows on Netflix’s worldwide daily chart
These titles appeared in FlixPatrol’s worldwide Netflix chart on October 7, 2026. The page says it tracks daily charts from 1,033 streaming platforms in 167 countries, but the ten below are specifically its Netflix entries; the chart does not establish a universal top ten or show how many people watched each title.
- East of Eden — A seven-part period drama based on John Steinbeck’s 1952 novel, according to Tom’s Guide. Viewers who like comparing adaptations with their source material may want to start with Steinbeck’s book.
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians
- Not a Stranger
- Raw
- Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story
- Mayor of Kingstown
- The Gentlemen
- Matlock
- Shaque: Trust No One
- Medusa
FlixPatrol’s ranking is a useful snapshot of chart presence, not a measure of shared taste or a guarantee that every title is available in every country. Rankings and streaming catalogs change, so check your local service before planning a watch.
What Netflix’s weekly viewing figures add
A different kind of evidence comes from Netflix’s official global weekly Top 10. For September 14–20, 2026, Netflix reported these view counts:
#1 Best Overall
- Ultra-speedy streaming: Roku Ultra is 30% faster than any other Roku player, delivering a lightning-fast interface and apps that launch in a snap.
- Cinematic streaming: This TV streaming device brings the movie theater to your living room with spectacular 4K, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision picture alongside immersive Dolby Atmos audio.
- The ultimate Roku remote: The rechargeable Roku Voice Remote Pro offers backlit buttons, hands-free voice controls, and a lost remote finder.
- No more fumbling in the dark: See what you’re pressing with backlit buttons.
- Say goodbye to batteries: Keep your remote powered for months on a single charge.
| Title | Netflix views, Sept. 14–20, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story | 12.1 million |
| Crew Girl | 11.3 million |
| The Gentlemen, Season 2 | 6 million |
These figures are for that specific week, not October 7, and they should not be read as positions in FlixPatrol’s daily chart. Netflix’s weekly Top 10 reports viewing for a defined period; its separate Top 10 and Most Popular lists have shown viewing numbers since 2021. Netflix also publishes six-month viewing reports based on hours watched.
Other services have different chart leaders
Platform, country and date all affect what “popular right now” means. Two other snapshots illustrate why a cross-service claim needs a defined scope:
Rank #2
- HD streaming made simple: With America’s number 1 TV streaming platform,* exploring popular apps—plus tons of free movies, shows, and live TV—is as easy as it is fun. *Based on hours streamed—Hypothesis Group
- Compact without compromises: The sleek design of Roku Streaming Stick won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- TV, simplified: With setup that only takes minutes, a simple-to-navigate Home Screen, and an uncluttered remote control that does all you need—Roku makes it easier to watch the TV you love.
- Disney+ worldwide, October 3: FlixPatrol’s first three TV positions were Loki, Bluey Compilations and The Drop: A Snowfall Saga. Its wider list also included High Potential, Scrubs and Modern Family. These are third-party chart positions, not Disney+ viewing totals.
- Prime Video in the U.S., September 30: Tom’s Guide reported Neagley at No. 1 in its account of that day’s Top 10 and highlighted The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin and a 2017 science-fiction series. This is dated editorial reporting, not a primary audience measurement.
For service-level context, Reelgood’s U.S. index for August 24–September 24 measured the breadth of popular titles available among its app users, ranking Netflix first at 9.88, Prime Video second at 9.15 and Hulu third at 8.55. That index compares services’ title breadth; it does not rank individual shows or represent all viewers.
How to choose what to watch
A chart can help you spot what is getting attention, but it cannot tell you which show suits your evening. Narrow the options by asking:
Rank #3
- MAKE YOUR TV SMARTER - Enhance any TV with the ability to play videos, music, and photo slideshows from a USB drive or MicroSD Card! It’s so simple and intuitive - anyone can use it. The Micca 4K is amazingly compact and affordable, get one for each TV in the house!

Sharp and clear video and audio in pure digital format, compatible with 4K and 1080p TVs, projectors, and monitor displays. Composite AV output for use with analog TVs or for sending sound to a stereo system.
- DUAL USB AND MICRO SD READER - Play media files from USB flash drives and USB hard drives up to 8TB, or microSD cards up to 1TB. Supports FAT/FAT32, exFAT and NTFS file systems. Compatible with wireless air mouse remotes for non-line-of-sight control so that the player can be hidden away!
- SIMPLE DIGITAL SIGNAGE - Automatic video playback with endless repeat and looping, and the ability to resume from the last stopping point. Configurable 90/180/270 degree video output rotation. Great for digital signage applications such as restaurant menu boards, lobby welcome videos, art and museum installations.
- MEDIA FORMAT SUPPORT - Videos: MKV, MP4/M4V, AVI, MOV, MPG, VOB, M2TS, TS files encoded with H.265/HEVC, H.264/AVC, MPEG1/2/4, VC1, up to 4096x2304, 30fps, 200mbps. Subtitles: SRT, PGS, IDX+SUB. Music: MP3, WAV, FLAC. Photos: JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG
- What kind of story do you want? Separate drama, fantasy, crime and comedy rather than treating a chart position as a recommendation for every mood.
- Do you want a new release or a returning/catalog title? A current chart can mix both, so check the show’s season and episode list before you begin.
- How much time do you want to commit? Check episode counts and runtimes on the service; the cited charts do not score series by viewing commitment.
- Where are you watching? A worldwide ranking and a U.S.-only list are not interchangeable, and availability varies by territory.
What the charts can—and cannot—tell you
Netflix reported more than 97 billion viewing hours across its titles in the first half of 2026. In the same report, it listed 104 million views for His & Hers and 64 million for I Will Find You. Those six-month figures give scale for Netflix viewing, but they do not establish either title’s position in the October daily chart or measure the ten shows above.
The most reliable way to read a “popular shows” list is to keep its labels attached: which platform, which country or worldwide scope, which date or measurement window, and whether the ranking reports views, hours, or simply chart position. The October 7 list is a current Netflix snapshot; no cited source establishes one representative, all-service ranking of what every viewer is watching.
