Shaquille O’Neal’s automotive reputation spans a $1,500 Ford Bronco II, luxury purchases, classics, oversized custom builds and vehicles mentioned on his podcast. But no reliable public source establishes a complete, current garage inventory. The list below is an editorial selection of 10 notable rides associated with Shaq, assembled from reports made in different years—not a definitive ranking by price, performance or confirmed present ownership.
What can actually be established about Shaq’s cars?
Public accounts mix first-person interviews, later reporting, dated anecdotes and secondary video lists. A vehicle being included here means it was associated with O’Neal in one of those accounts; it does not necessarily mean he owns it today.
| Ride | What the available source says | Evidence and ownership caveat |
|---|---|---|
| Ford Bronco II | O’Neal identified it as his first car; NBA.com reported he paid $1,500 for one while at LSU. | First-person account from 2013, with the purchase price reported separately by NBA.com in its 2019-era profile. |
| Ferrari | O’Neal said in 2013 that he had a Ferrari. | Model and current status were not specified. |
| Lamborghini | O’Neal said in 2013 that he had a Lamborghini. | Model and current status were not specified. |
| Bentleys | Vanity Fair reported that he bought three Bentleys impulsively. | Dated 2012 account; it does not verify that he still owns all three or identify a complete model list. |
| Cadillac Escalade IQ | Named by O’Neal in podcast remarks reported in 2025. | Recent statement, but not a full inventory record. |
| 1964 Chevrolet Impala | Named by O’Neal in the same 2025 reporting. | Recent statement; present condition and ownership details were not established. |
| 1966 Cadillac | Named by O’Neal in 2025. | The model was not identified, so it should not be presented as a specific Cadillac variant. |
| Custom Range Rover | Associated with a Range Rover customized by Effortless Motors. | AP reported it was stolen during transport in 2025; no recovery status is asserted here. |
| Hummer H2 | Included in a 2022 video compilation of vehicles linked to O’Neal. | Secondary list only; it does not establish current ownership. |
| Jeep Wrangler | Also included in that 2022 compilation. | Secondary list only; it does not establish current ownership. |
The 10 notable rides
1. Ford Bronco II — Shaq’s first car
In a 2013 NASCAR interview, O’Neal said his first car was a Ford Bronco II. NBA.com separately reported that he bought one for $1,500 while he was at LSU. That origin story gives the compact SUV a special place in the collection narrative, even though the available accounts do not establish whether he still has it.
2. Ferrari — model unspecified
O’Neal told NASCAR in 2013 that he had a Ferrari. The interview did not name the model, purchase date or current status. It is therefore more accurate to describe this as a Ferrari associated with a dated first-person statement than to attach a specific model from internet speculation.

3. Lamborghini — model unspecified
The same 2013 interview also included a Lamborghini among O’Neal’s cars. No model was given. Later lists sometimes identify particular Lamborghinis, but the evidence available here does not connect a specific model to that interview or prove present ownership.
4. Three Bentleys bought on impulse
Vanity Fair reported in 2012 that O’Neal described buying three Bentleys in an impulsive spree, saying it was “a million dollars gone in 10 minutes.” That line is an anecdote about a purchase episode, not a verified valuation of his collection or proof that all three cars remain in his possession. The report also does not supply a complete model-by-model breakdown.

5. Cadillac Escalade IQ
In 2025 reporting on comments from O’Neal’s podcast, he said he had recently acquired a Cadillac Escalade IQ. He contrasted it with the Tesla Cybertruck, explaining: “I was into the Cybertrucks, but they don’t get enough, I wanna say, what’s the word I’m looking for, electric mileage?” That is a recent, attributed statement, but it still is not an independently audited inventory record.
6. 1964 Chevrolet Impala
O’Neal also named a 1964 Impala in those 2025 podcast remarks. The reference identifies the year and model line, but the available report does not establish the car’s specification, restoration history, location or whether it remains in his collection.

7. 1966 Cadillac — exact model not stated
The 2025 remarks included a 1966 Cadillac. Because the source did not identify whether it was a DeVille, Eldorado, Fleetwood or another variant, the responsible description is simply “1966 Cadillac.” Assigning a specific model would go beyond the evidence.
8. Custom Range Rover
Associated Press reporting in 2025 described a custom Range Rover linked to O’Neal and said it was stolen while being transported. AP also reported that Effortless Motors handled customization work on vehicles for him. The theft is a dated event; the available information does not establish a later recovery outcome, so none is implied here.

9. Hummer H2 — video-listed claim
A 2022 video compilation included a Hummer H2 among vehicles associated with O’Neal. Because that source is a secondary compilation rather than a contemporaneous ownership statement or audit, the H2 belongs in a “reported or listed” category, not a confirmed-current garage list.
10. Jeep Wrangler — video-listed claim
The same 2022 compilation listed a Jeep Wrangler. As with the Hummer, the video supplies a lead about a vehicle linked to Shaq but does not establish when he owned it, whether he still does, or which configuration was involved.

Why a definitive “top 10” ranking is not possible
The available evidence does not provide comparable prices, performance figures, rarity assessments or a verified acquisition timeline for these vehicles. A numerical ranking would therefore create false precision. The useful distinctions are the strength and date of each ownership claim, how extensively a vehicle was customized, whether it is a classic, luxury vehicle, SUV or performance car, and the personal story O’Neal attached to it.
What was Shaq’s first car?
His first car was a Ford Bronco II, according to O’Neal’s 2013 NASCAR interview. NBA.com reported that he paid $1,500 for one while at LSU. Those are the clearest specific details publicly attributed to him about the beginning of his car history.
Does Shaq still own all of these cars?
No public, reliable source identified here verifies that he currently owns all 10. The Ferrari and Lamborghini statements date to 2013, the Bentley account to 2012, the video list to 2022, and the Escalade IQ, classics and Range Rover reports to 2025. Treating the list as a time-stamped set of associations—not a current inventory—is the most accurate interpretation.
