There is no reliable, comparable ranking of the “most famous” celebrity voice coaches. The ten names below are a non-ranked selection of coaches publicly associated with pop performers, actors preparing to sing on screen, touring artists, or voice and speech training. Many client lists come from the coaches or their studios, so they are attributed rather than treated as independently verified rosters.
What celebrity voice coaches do
Celebrity vocal coaching is not one job. Some coaches help established singers develop technique, prepare for performances, or sustain demanding schedules. Others work with actors portraying singers, while some also coach speaking voice and communication. A coach’s client associations show the range of their work; they do not prove that coaching alone produced a performer’s success or that the same method will suit every singer.
Ten notable celebrity voice coaches
Eric Vetro
Vetro’s work spans singers and actors preparing for screen roles. His official media page links coverage of his work with Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet, and Angelina Jolie, as well as the films Wicked, Maria, and A Complete Unknown. These links describe his professional associations; they do not establish that coaching alone determined any performer’s result. For learners, BBC Maestro offers his Sing Like the Stars course, listed as 8 hours, 31 lessons, and 54 vocal exercises on its course page. Those are course specifications, not a measure of learning outcomes.
Roger Love
Love works on both singing and speaking voice, making him a useful example of a coach whose remit extends beyond vocal performance. His official biography lists celebrity clients and claims film-coaching credits on Walk the Line, Crazy Heart, and A Star Is Born. The source presents these as his career credits.

Seth Riggs
Riggs is associated with Speech Level Singing and the book Singing for the Stars, according to Riggs Vocal Studio. The studio calls him “the man behind 135 Grammys.” That is promotional wording from the studio, not an independently audited count of awards or proof of a particular coaching outcome.
Valerie Morehouse
Morehouse’s published roster names artists including Sam Smith, Sia, Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus, and BLACKPINK; her site also describes her preparation work for Ryan Gosling’s Oscars performance. The roster is coach-published, not an independent client audit. Her stated areas include vocal health and touring longevity, and her online course covers mixed voice, breathing, and support. Morehouse’s course page describes the curriculum rather than guaranteeing a result.

Her site reproduces testimonials, which should be understood as endorsements rather than independent evaluations. On her home page, Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers says: “When I met Valerie, I didn’t have a voice outside the studio. Over a year of consistent vocal training with Val, I am now singing confidently at over one hundred and fifty shows a year.” Her book page reproduces Sam Smith’s comment: “My beautiful vocal coach Valerie Morehouse has written a book. It was a pleasure to write the foreword. It’s a wonderful read. Congratulations darling.” The same page quotes Avril Lavigne: “I’ve tried every voice coach from Los Angeles to New York; Valerie’s teaching style is the only one that makes sense to me.”
Jeannie Deva
Deva’s organization describes a long career in performance coaching and the Deva Method, along with work on House of Carters and named artist clients. These details come from the organization’s official profile, so they are best read as its account of her work.

Gary Catona
Catona’s official student page lists musicians and entertainers including Whitney Houston, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, and Pharrell Williams. His site describes his approach as “voice building.” That description is not clinical evidence for any health or recovery claim.
Justin Stoney
Stoney founded New York Vocal Coaching. His official material says he coached Tony Shalhoub in preparation for the 2018 Tony-winning performance in The Band’s Visit, and describes clients with major award and chart credentials. The account supports his professional profile, not a ranking of his fame.

Peisha McPhee
McPhee’s official biography presents her as a singer and vocal coach who teaches master classes. A Music Connection trade directory associates her with American Idol and Disney’s Moana; those credits are attributable to the directory rather than the biography.
Alena Herel
The Vocal Coaches profile identifies Herel as a resident coach on ITV’s The Voice Kids UK and as Ella Mai’s vocal coach. This is the profile’s account of her work, not an independently verified roster.

Renee Grant-Williams
Secondary, search-indexed material describes Grant-Williams as a voice and communication coach and lists artists among her clients. The available profile-level evidence is weaker than the official or trade sources supporting the other entries, so these associations should be treated as reported rather than independently established.

Start with the work you need, not the celebrity names on a roster. A singer preparing for a tour, an actor learning to sing for a role, and someone seeking clearer speaking voice may need different expertise. A famous client is not a guarantee of fit, and a course cannot provide the same individualized feedback as private coaching.
- Match the specialty to your goal. Look for singing technique, touring stamina, speaking voice, or actor preparation, depending on what you want to work on.
- Check the learning format. Private lessons allow individual feedback; a book or online course offers structured material for independent study. Morehouse has a book and online course, while BBC Maestro presents Vetro’s course as a guided set of lessons and exercises.
- Read client claims with attribution in mind. A roster on a coach’s own site is that coach’s published account. Trade directories and independent coverage are different kinds of evidence, and neither should be inflated into a comparative ranking.
- Assess the teaching fit. Consider your musical style, experience, schedule, and need for direct feedback. A method promoted by a well-known coach is not automatically right for every voice.
Learning resources from two coaches
For readers interested in Morehouse’s stated focus on vocal health, technique, mental health, recovery, and resilience, her book is A Better Voice: Straight from the Entertainment Industry Frontlines. Its author page describes the book and its contents. Her online course page outlines lessons on mixed voice, vocal health, breathing, and support.
Vetro’s Sing Like the Stars is a structured course option for guided exercises; BBC Maestro lists its lesson count, duration, and exercises on the official course page. Course access and pricing can vary, so check the provider’s current listing before enrolling.
