Returning cast
Most of the season’s core team carried over from Season 2. Netflix’s returning-cast list names the performers below. The roles column describes how each character connects to Mickey’s defense practice or his personal life.
| Actor | Character | Connection to Mickey’s practice or personal life |
|---|---|---|
| Manuel Garcia-Rulfo | Mickey Haller | Los Angeles defense attorney and the series’ lead. The season opens after the death of Glory Days. |
| Becki Newton | Lorna | Mickey’s former wife and longtime professional partner. Netflix’s later cast guide says she passes the bar during Season 3 and becomes an associate at Haller and Associates. |
| Jazz Raycole | Izzy | A former client who works as Mickey’s driver. Netflix’s later cast guide says she becomes the firm’s office manager in Season 3. |
| Angus Sampson | Cisco | Mickey’s private investigator and Lorna’s husband. |
| Yaya DaCosta | Andrea “Andy” Freeman | A prosecutor who reports to Adam Suarez. See the spelling note below. |
| Neve Campbell | Maggie | Mickey’s first ex-wife and a deputy district attorney who has moved to San Diego. |
| Elliott Gould | Legal Siegel | Named in Netflix’s returning-cast list. The list does not describe the character’s role. |
| Krista Warner | Hayley | Mickey’s daughter. |
| Fiona Rene | Glory Days (Gloria Dayton) | A friend of Mickey who is killed before the main Season 3 case begins. |
| Devon Graye | Julian La Cosse | Mickey’s client, accused of killing Giselle Dallinger, who is revealed to be Glory Days. |
Mickey’s legal team
Lorna and Cisco are the two returning members of Mickey’s day-to-day operation, and Izzy’s role changes over the season. Lorna’s arc is the most concrete in Netflix’s later cast guide: she passes the bar during Season 3 and becomes an associate at Haller and Associates, which moves her from partner in practice to a licensed lawyer inside the firm. Izzy’s move to office manager, also described in that later guide, gives the firm a role that sits outside the courtroom. Cisco remains the investigator who works Mickey’s cases from the field.

Mickey’s personal circle
Maggie’s Season 3 appearances are mostly tied to Mickey’s past. Netflix says she remains on Mickey’s personal axis and appears in flashbacks, and the showrunners describe the season’s opening flashback as “a fun (and poignant) way to come into the season,” one that gives “some insight into how Mickey Haller became Mickey Haller — not just the brilliant criminal defense lawyer, but the husband, the father, and the man that he would come to be.” Garcia-Rulfo links Maggie to Mickey’s present relationships: “Even if she’s not there, [she’s] always in the back of his being. There’s always something about Maggie that’s there. When he meets new girls, I think he’s always feeling that he’s cheating on her.”
Hayley appears as Mickey’s daughter and is part of the family context that the season keeps in view while the case moves forward.
The case: Glory Days and Julian La Cosse
Glory Days is the reason the season begins. Netflix’s season overview says Mickey’s pursuit of the truth follows her death at the end of Season 2. Julian La Cosse is accused of killing her under the name Giselle Dallinger, and Mickey takes his defense. For a reader trying to place the characters, Julian is the client and Glory Days is the victim; the reveal that the two names belong to the same woman is part of the season’s setup.
Andrea “Andy” Freeman and the spelling question
Andy Freeman is a prosecutor who reports to chief deputy district attorney Adam Suarez. Netflix’s Season 3 overview spells the surname “Freeman,” while a later cast-guide entry spells it “Freemann.” If you need the spelling for citation or fan wikis, check the on-screen or end-credit listing for the episode you are using, since the sources reviewed here do not settle it.
New Season 3 cast
Netflix’s Season 3 cast announcement names five performers who are new to the series’ regular roster for this season. Their roles are summarized below.
| Actor | Character | Role in the season |
|---|---|---|
| Merrin Dungey | Judge Regina Turner | A former public defender. Netflix describes her as younger and more progressive than most judges in the district. |
| Allyn Moriyon | Eddie Rojas | A fitness enthusiast and former babysitter to Mickey’s daughter Hayley who needs legal representation. Mickey helps him and offers him an opportunity. |
| John Pirruccello | William Forsythe | A prosecutor who initially seems unthreatening to Mickey, though the trial reveals more complexity. |
| Philip Anthony-Rodriguez | Adam Suarez | Chief deputy district attorney to whom Andy Freeman reports. |
| Holt McCallany | Neil Bishop | A former police officer whom Netflix’s later cast guide describes as shady. He clashes with Mickey in and out of court during the season. |
Judge Regina Turner
Turner is the judge Mickey faces in the courtroom, and Netflix’s description stresses her background as a former public defender. That history matters for a defense attorney: a judge who once represented defendants comes to the bench with a different set of instincts than most of her colleagues, as Netflix frames it.
Rank #4
Eddie Rojas
Eddie is the new character with the most direct tie to Mickey’s family. He was Hayley’s babysitter, and when he needs legal representation, Mickey helps him and offers him an opportunity. The personal history makes Eddie’s storyline feel closer to home than a standard client matter.
William Forsythe
Forsythe is the prosecutor Mickey initially underestimates. Netflix’s cast guide says he seems unthreatening at first, and the trial shows a more complicated opponent.

Adam Suarez
Suarez sits above Andy Freeman in the district attorney’s office as chief deputy. He is the supervisor whose decisions shape how the prosecution operates, and his relationship to the Freeman character is the main thing Netflix’s sources establish about him.
Neil Bishop
Bishop is a former police officer who clashes with Mickey both inside and outside the courtroom. Netflix’s later cast guide calls him shady, and his conflicts with Mickey run through the season rather than resolving in a single episode.
Spoiler: how Season 3 ends
Spoiler warning: the following describes the Season 3 finale.
Netflix’s later cast guide says the Season 3 finale ends with former client Sam Scales found dead in the trunk of Mickey’s car, and Mickey is suspected of the murder. The cliffhanger leads into the premise Netflix describes for a later season. Read this section only if you are willing to know the ending before watching.
