Is Presumed Innocent based on a book?
Yes. The series is based on Scott Turow’s bestselling novel of the same name. The novel is a standalone work; the television adaptation tells its story across eight episodes, giving the case and its effects on the Sabich family room to unfold over a season. The series is an adaptation, so viewers should not assume every plot or characterization choice matches the book.
How many episodes are there, and when did they air?
Apple describes season one as an eight-episode limited series. The first two episodes premiered globally on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, followed by one episode each Wednesday through July 24, 2024.
