The show was followed immediately by The Outer Worlds 2 Direct. This roundup sorts the highlights that Microsoft’s official recap confirmed by type of news: premieres, expansions, gameplay updates, and hardware. It is a selective list drawn from that recap, not a complete log of every trailer, platform, or release date.

Premieres versus updates
A world premiere is a first public reveal of a game. A first look at DLC shows a paid expansion for an existing game. Extended or new gameplay shows a game that was already known, now with more footage. Keep these categories separate when comparing news: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Keeper were premieres, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s Order of the Giants was a DLC first look, and Ninja Gaiden 4, Gears of War: Reloaded, and Clockwork Revolution were gameplay updates.
