Emilia’s role in the story
According to Netflix’s official synopsis, the arrival of siblings Emilia and Héctor Krawietz, leaders of Las Encinas’ alumni association, shakes the school’s foundations. The synopsis describes them as influential and powerful, and says they spread chaos and harm among the people who fall into their orbit. It frames Omar as the character willing to confront them.
The siblings therefore work as a pair. Their shared position at Las Encinas, rather than either one alone, is the premise the series builds on.

How Rot describes Emilia
The following points are Rot’s own interpretation of the character, given in interviews, and are not official plot facts.
A calculating, thinking presence
Rot describes Emilia as highly intelligent and calculating. In a FormulaTV interview published on 24 July 2024, she set the two siblings against each other in temperament:
Rank #2
“Los dos hermanos se complementan muy bien. Son igual de malos, pero Héctor es la parte más pasional y visceral y ella es la parte pensante de todo.” English translation: “The two siblings complement each other very well. They are equally bad, but Héctor is the more passionate and visceral side, and she is the thinking part of it all.”
Loyal, resilient, and not simply villainous
In a Vanitatis interview published on 27 July 2024, Rot described Emilia as loyal to her family and resilient in pursuing her goals. She rejected a simple good-versus-evil reading of the character:
Rank #3
“No creo que nadie sea malo ni bueno. Todo el mundo tiene luces y sombras.” English translation: “I don’t think anyone is good or bad. Everyone has light and shadow.”
Class and power at Las Encinas
Rot also discussed the Krawietz siblings in relation to class and power at Las Encinas. She said Emilia’s connection to classism was challenging for her to understand, and described the series as a prompt for debate rather than a lesson. Those reflections concern the fiction only.
Rank #4
