Why the schedule skipped November 27
CBS’s listing records the gap but does not state a cause. You will see online explanations that credit Thanksgiving or a sports broadcast taking the time slot. Those are not official CBS statements in the material reviewed here, so treat them as unconfirmed. The only verifiable point is that the official guide has no episode for that date.
If you need the reason for a specific week’s change, check CBS’s own schedule announcements or the series page at cbs.com/shows/ghosts. Network scheduling changes are often announced close to air date, so a listing that was accurate weeks earlier may have changed.

Episode 7: “The Proposal”
Episode 7 is titled “The Proposal,” and CBS lists its air date as December 4, 2025. The CBS description gives the runtime as 21 minutes and summarizes the episode this way:
- Sam helps Eric plan a proposal to Bela.
- An encounter with Sasappis leaves Bela doubtful.
- Isaac tries to prove he is “just one of the basement ghosts.”

The episode before the gap
Episode 6, “Planes, Shanes and Automobiles,” is listed for November 20, 2025. CBS’s description says the ghosts bring in a babysitter while Sam and Pete deal with travel trouble ahead of Thanksgiving. It is the last listed episode before the November 27 gap. - Compare the listed date with the episode page, which shows the title, runtime, and description.
- Look for the episode on CBS’s own schedule before assuming a week is empty or a date is final.
Because the listings above are dated 2025, the episode pages are the authoritative record of what CBS published for that season.

The 2025 listing is the only schedule evidence reviewed here. It establishes that November 27, 2025 had no listed episode and that December 4, 2025 was the next listed date, but it does not confirm how or when episode 7 was broadcast beyond that listing.
