Behar then joked, “And little Instagram.” The exchange came a day after Musk brought his son to the White House.
What happened at the White House?
On February 11, 2025, Elon Musk brought his son, X Æ A-Xii, to the Oval Office while President Donald Trump signed executive orders. ABC News reported that Musk discussed his work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) as the child drew attention in the room. Musk calls his son “Lil X.” ABC News’ account of the appearance identifies the boy by his full name.
What did Goldberg and Behar say?
On February 12, The View discussed Musk taking his son to a press conference. A published transcript records Goldberg saying, “his son X.” Behar interrupted, “X?” Goldberg answered, “I did not name the child,” then said she did not want to hear “any more mess about our names.” Behar added, “And little Instagram.” The published transcript attributes the exchange to Goldberg, Behar, and Sara Haines.
What did “little Instagram” mean?
Behar’s “little Instagram” line was a joke in the same exchange, not a separate factual claim about Musk’s son or family. Hindustan Times also recounted the remark in its account of the comments following the White House appearance. Hindustan Times’ report describes the comments as drawing criticism, but the reviewed coverage does not establish how representative those reactions were.

How to read the exchange
The word “jab” characterizes the exchange’s tone; the quoted lines show what the hosts said. The exact wording above comes from a third-party published transcript, not an official ABC transcript or a full episode source. ABC News’ contemporaneous account establishes the setting and identifies Musk’s son as X Æ A-Xii, whom Musk calls “Lil X.”
