Ashley Manning is the wife of former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning. Biography.com, updated November 8, 2023, lists her as his spouse, gives their marriage as beginning in 2001, and reports that they have twin sons, Marshall and Mosley, born in March 2011.

The PeyBack Foundation
The clearest documented link between Ashley and public life is the PeyBack Foundation. The Foundation’s own materials describe programs aimed at helping young people grow and become leaders, and the 2021 House resolution names Peyton and Ashley as the people who established it to support programs for disadvantaged youth.
The Foundation’s programs page describes several initiatives: a relationship with Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, a University of Tennessee scholarship program, the Manning Passing Academy, a ticket incentive program, and grants. The page states that the Foundation is no longer accepting unsolicited grant applications. The page does not show a date for that status, so check the Foundation’s current site before assuming grants are open or closed.

The scholarship statement
The Foundation’s programs page quotes Peyton Manning: “Ashley and I have been really fortunate and made a gift to UT eight years ago to up the scholarships to four a year.” The statement is attributed to Peyton and is undated on the page, so it should be read as a description of an earlier gift to the University of Tennessee, not a current scholarship count. Quote it with that attribution and context intact.
The hospital connection
The Foundation’s relationship with Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital is documented on the Foundation’s page. Ascension’s own hospital page describes the hospital’s pediatric services in Indianapolis and Evansville and says it connects patients to more than 240 pediatric specialists across more than 40 specialties. Those are facts about the hospital as an institution. Neither source establishes what role, if any, Ashley plays in the hospital’s operations or clinical work.

What the public record does not establish
The available sources do not document Ashley’s maiden name, education, early life, career, business activities, residence, or how she and Peyton met. They also do not describe the family’s private arrangements. Any article or profile that presents those details as fact is going beyond what can be verified from these sources. Her public role, as far as documented, is her shared involvement with Peyton in the PeyBack Foundation.

In short, Ashley Manning is documented as Peyton Manning’s wife, as the mother of twin sons, and as a co-founder of the PeyBack Foundation. Anything beyond those points should be treated as unverified until a dated, primary source confirms it.
