The female mummy in Tom Cruise’s 2017 film The Mummy is Princess Ahmanet, played by Sofia Boutella. At the end of the story, Ahmanet is sealed back inside her sarcophagus. She is fictional, so there is no real-world place where the mummy is now.
Who is the female mummy in The Mummy?
She is Princess Ahmanet, an ancient princess awakened in the present day. Universal’s official trailer identifies Sofia Boutella as the princess and gives the film’s theatrical opening date as June 9, 2017. Universal’s official film page describes the same central premise.

Ahmanet is a fictional character, not a real archaeological mummy. The figure on screen is also a cinematic creation: a Journal of Cinema and Media Studies article discusses how Boutella’s performance is combined with prosthetics and digital effects to create Ahmanet’s body.
What happens to Ahmanet at the end?
Ahmanet is sealed back in her sarcophagus. That is her status at the end of the film—not a real-world update about a mummy or a burial site.

Where is Sofia Boutella now?
The film and sources cited here do not establish where Boutella currently lives or what she is doing at this moment. Ahmanet’s fate in the story should not be confused with the actor’s present-day whereabouts.
