Micah Plath is a cast member of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, the reality series that first introduced his family in season 1 as homeschooled children living on a farm. On the show, his story has moved from a sheltered childhood to a series of independent steps: taking modeling jobs, pursuing acting in Los Angeles, and relocating away from his family. Those personal choices are where his storyline has been most closely followed, and where the show’s own account matters most.
Who Micah Plath is on the show
Micah is one of the Plath children, who grew up with parents Kim and Barry on the family farm. TLC says viewers first met him in season 1, when he was homeschooled and living with his siblings. The family’s shared activities included a band in which Micah, Isaac, Lydia, Moriah, and Ethan played together, and that music thread continues to appear in later seasons.
From the family farm to a modeling career
TLC’s official retrospective, published September 17, 2025, is the most complete single account of his path. It describes his growing interest in modeling, his meeting with an agent, and his first work for a boutique. According to that account, he became more confident as he took on more jobs. The same retrospective notes that modeling work was not always steady, which later shaped his decisions about what came next.
The agency question
An earlier TLC family update reported that Micah had signed with Select Model Management and was posting fashion-shoot photographs. That is historical agency information. The reporting does not establish whether he still has that representation, and it should not be read as a current contract or booking arrangement.

Acting ambitions and the move to California
Alongside modeling, Micah wanted to expand into acting and worked on his craft. TLC’s retrospective describes the move to California as a deliberate step toward that goal. The Los Angeles period is presented as mixed: some good stretches, and some months without modeling bookings. The show frames those gaps as the point where he began to question whether modeling would remain his main path.
Music in the family
The show records music as a recurring family activity rather than a career for Micah. Season timelines describe him playing guitar with his younger brother Isaac, performing with Moriah at her concert, and later running sound at a family concert where the siblings sang and played instruments. Nothing in the reporting establishes music as his current profession.

Family tension and the parents’ perspective
TLC’s retrospective places Micah within disagreements between the Plath children and their parents, Kim and Barry, and later within broader family tensions. Those disagreements are presented through the people and episodes that describe them. Viewers should weigh each opinion as the view of the person expressing it, not as an established verdict on the family.
What happened between Micah and Veronica
Warner Bros. Discovery’s June 2025 season announcement said Micah and Veronica had hit a rough patch. TLC’s retrospective recaps season 7 conflict, including Veronica’s on-camera allegations of infidelity. Us Weekly, reporting on an episode preview on August 4, 2025, relayed Micah’s response: he said he had continued seeing other women while the relationship was long-distance, and that he had not been ready to commit. In the preview, he said: “I committed before I was ready to commit. I was not in it for the longest time.”

Is Micah still modeling?
The available reporting does not confirm that he is currently modeling or currently represented by an agency. What is established is the arc: he began modeling, took jobs that built his confidence, pursued acting in Los Angeles, and weighed whether modeling could remain central. Any current status would need a newer, dated statement from Micah or the show.
