The report did not identify the exact models of the accessories or shoes. The event article was dated September 16, two days after the show.
The “six years” description should be understood as AOL’s wording, not a precisely verified interval: the available account does not provide a corroborating date for an earlier NYFW appearance. AOL’s event report is the source for the appearance and its details.
What the health references do—and do not—establish
AOL’s indexed extract reproduces a statement saying Williams had previously spoken publicly about Graves’ disease and lymphedema, as well as other health challenges. The passage available in the extract does not identify who made the statement, so it should not be attributed to Williams, a representative or a medical professional. It also describes past public discussion, not a current medical assessment.

A New York County court complaint states that Williams was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and primary progressive aphasia (PPA) in May 2023 and began receiving 24-hour care afterward. Those are assertions in a litigant’s filing, not findings independently established by the court. The complaint also says guardianship proceedings and filings are sealed; it does not support an unqualified claim about Williams’s present medical status. The complaint is the source for those allegations.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced preliminary dates of September 10–15, 2026, for the official New York Fashion Week schedule covering the Spring-Summer 2027 season. Those dates concern a later fashion week, not Williams’s September 2025 appearance. The CFDA says it has organized the official NYFW schedule since acquiring the Fashion Calendar in 2014. The CFDA’s July 1, 2026 notice provides the schedule details.
