Rolling Stone described the appearance as the group’s first full reunion in more than 15 years and reported a set featuring group hits, solo catalog moments, and guest appearances by Mannie Fresh and Birdman.
When and where did the Hot Boys reunion happen?
The reunion took place at Lil WeezyAna Fest on November 2, 2024, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The venue’s event listing records a 7:00 p.m. start and bills the Hot Boys reunion alongside Rob49 and a Mannie Fresh DJ set: Smoothie King Center event listing.
Lil Wayne announced the planned reunion in September. Billboard’s advance report also described an expected appearance at Essence Fest, but that event did not bring all four members onstage together. The full-lineup performance happened later at WeezyAna Fest: Billboard’s advance report; Hot 97’s advance coverage.
Who performed, and what did they play?
The four members—Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk, and B.G.—shared the stage. Rolling Stone reported that the reunion set lasted about 22 minutes, citing the New Orleans Times-Picayune; that is a reported duration, not an independent timing of the performance. Songs included “Get Your Roll On,” “I Need a Hot Girl,” and “Neighborhood Superstar.”

Why was this reunion described as long-awaited?
Rolling Stone called the 2024 appearance the first full Hot Boys reunion in more than 15 years and reported that the four had not shared a stage since 2008. The same report notes that three members appeared at an earlier WeezyAna Fest in 2016 without B.G. Those milestones are Rolling Stone’s account of the group’s stage history.
The reunion had been anticipated after talk of a Hot Boys appearance at Essence Fest. Juvenile discussed the prospect of a reunion and new music in pre-festival comments on Instagram Live, quoted by Billboard. But the reported Essence appearance was not a full reunion: Wayne performed solo after other Cash Money figures appeared, and Turk was absent. The four-member lineup came together at WeezyAna Fest instead.

At the time of the reunion, the Hot Boys’ most recent album was Let ’Em Burn, released in 2003. Rolling Stone identifies it as the group’s third album.
