WWE x AAA Worlds Collide took place September 12, 2025, at The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The six-match card ended with Dominik Mysterio defeating El Hijo del Vikingo to win the AAA Mega Championship. Below are all six results, in event order, followed by an editorial ranking using pacing, clarity, execution, crowd engagement, and how effectively each match used its story or format.
What Worlds Collide was—and what the results establish
WWE announced the Las Vegas event as a card bringing WWE Superstars together with talent from Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA. WWE’s August 2025 announcement said AAA had been acquired by WWE in partnership with Mexico-based sports and entertainment holding company Fillip. WWE Corporate’s announcement provides that event context.
The results below follow the event sequence reported by Fightful. The winners and championship outcomes are confirmed by WWE’s official results. The ranking is an editorial judgment, not an official WWE rating or a claim of objective consensus. The available cited information does not establish detailed in-ring sequences, so the reviews assess each match’s format, stakes, and documented outcome rather than inventing specific spots or finishes.
Worlds Collide September 2025 results, in event order
- Eight-man tag: La Parka, Octagón Jr., Laredo Kid, and Mascarita Sagrada defeated Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro.
- No. 1 contender’s match: Natalya defeated Faby Apache.
- Tag team match: AAA World Tag Team Champions Psycho Clown and Pagano defeated Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller.
- Mixed tag: Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice defeated Finn Bálor and Roxanne Perez.
- Fatal four-way for the Latin American title: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defeated Dragon Lee, Ethan Page, and JD McDonagh.
- AAA Mega Championship: Dominik Mysterio defeated El Hijo del Vikingo to become champion; WWE describes the win as controversial.
Fightful’s event-night report also says the Wyatt Sicks attacked Psycho Clown and Pagano after their tag-team title defense. That is a reported post-match angle, separate from the result listed by WWE.

Every match ranked and reviewed
These placements weigh five common criteria: pacing, clarity, execution, crowd engagement, and how well the match made use of its format or stakes. “Format” is not identical across the card: it means managing multiple competitors in a four-way or eight-man tag, coordinating partners in a tag, or making a championship or contender opportunity matter. Since the cited results and event report do not provide a detailed account of the action, the reviews avoid asserting particular crowd reactions or unverified moments.

The main event ranks first on stakes and narrative consequence: it decided the AAA Mega Championship and closed the Las Vegas card with a title change. WWE’s description of the win as controversial gives the result an added point of discussion, though the available result listing does not establish the specific circumstances behind that label. The championship stakes make the story easy to follow; a closer judgment of pacing, execution, or the precise finish would require a verified account of the match itself.
2. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Dragon Lee vs. Ethan Page vs. JD McDonagh — Latin American title fatal four-way
Result: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defeated Dragon Lee, Ethan Page, and JD McDonagh.

A four-way gives the match a clear structural challenge: keep four competitors and the title stakes legible at once. Its placement reflects that compact, consequential format and the presence of a championship outcome, rather than a claim about unverified sequences or crowd response. The result confirms Dr. Wagner Jr. as the winner, but the cited results do not specify how the victory was achieved.
3. Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice vs. Finn Bálor and Roxanne Perez — mixed tag
Result: Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice defeated Finn Bálor and Roxanne Perez.

The mixed-tag format creates a simple team-versus-team premise and puts the crossover pairing at the center of the match. It offers a distinct contrast with the championship contests above, while the result records an unambiguous winning team. The published outcome alone does not support a finer verdict on partner coordination, pacing, or audience engagement.
4. Psycho Clown and Pagano vs. Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller — tag team match
Result: AAA World Tag Team Champions Psycho Clown and Pagano defeated Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller.

The champions’ successful defense supplies clear stakes, and the matchup places an AAA title team against a WWE pairing. Fightful’s event-night report adds a post-match attack by the Wyatt Sicks, extending the segment beyond the match result. That reported angle is relevant context, but it does not establish the quality of the in-ring action or the crowd’s response.
5. La Parka, Octagón Jr., Laredo Kid, and Mascarita Sagrada vs. Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro — eight-man tag
Result: La Parka, Octagón Jr., Laredo Kid, and Mascarita Sagrada defeated Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro.
The eight-man format supplies the card’s largest team field and puts coordination and traffic management at the heart of its challenge. The result is clear, but the cited material does not document individual eliminations, sequences, or standout performances. It therefore ranks below the matches with more explicitly stated title or contender stakes rather than on an invented play-by-play assessment.
6. Natalya vs. Faby Apache — No. 1 contender’s match
Result: Natalya defeated Faby Apache.
A contender’s match has a straightforward purpose: determine who earns the next opportunity. WWE’s result confirms Natalya’s win, but does not name the prize or describe the route to victory in the listing. With no verified action details in the cited material, there is less basis to assess this match’s pacing or execution against the other formats, so it ranks sixth in this results-led evaluation—not as a definitive claim that it was the weakest performance.

Why the June viewership figure is not a September result
WWE reported that the June 2025 Worlds Collide broadcast peaked at 764,389 live concurrent viewers across the WWE and WWE Español YouTube channels during El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable. That number belongs to the June event, not the September Las Vegas show, and it should not be read as September viewership. WWE Corporate’s announcement is the source for the series figure.
