Somebody got to her.” Those were Roberts’s beliefs and allegation in an interview—not an investigative finding. The reporting cited here does not substantiate foul play or establish a final official determination of Giuffre’s death.
What Sky Roberts said
In an interview with Piers Morgan, published by The Daily Beast on May 1, 2025, Roberts disputed the reported account of his daughter’s death. The outlet quoted him: “And then for them to say that she committed suicide, there’s no way that she did. Somebody got to her.”
“Somebody got to her” is Roberts’s allegation. The interview report does not verify it, and it should not be read as proof that Giuffre was murdered.
What had been reported about Giuffre’s death
The Daily Beast reported on April 25, 2025, that Giuffre had been found dead at her home in Western Australia the preceding Friday and that her family said she died by suicide. The same report said police described their early indication as “the death is not suspicious.” That was an early indication, not a final determination.

The later reporting cited here does not establish a final official finding about the circumstances of her death. The family’s reported statement, Roberts’s later remarks and the early police indication are distinct accounts; none should be presented as proof of a conclusion the sources do not establish.
Why Giuffre’s 2019 statement is part of the discussion
In 2019, Giuffre publicly said she was not suicidal. The Daily Beast reproduced her post as follows: “I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal… If something happens to me—in the sake of my family do not let this go away and help me to protect them. Too many evil people want to see me quieted [sic].” Sky News also reported that she had said she was not suicidal.

That statement is relevant historical context, but it does not establish what happened years later. It cannot, on its own, confirm or disprove the reported cause of death.
What the coverage does—and does not—establish
- Roberts’s position: In the May 1 interview report, he said he did not believe his daughter died by suicide and alleged that “somebody got to her.”
- The family account: The Daily Beast reported that the family said Giuffre died by suicide.
- Police account: The outlet reported an early indication that the death was not suspicious; it did not describe this as a final finding.
- Unresolved point: The reporting cited here neither substantiates Roberts’s allegation nor provides a final official determination.
PerthNow reported on May 2, 2025, on the same interview and the family statement. The Guardian later recalled the family’s statement and Roberts’s May remarks in a November 28, 2025, report about a separate dispute over an unsigned document; that later reference does not resolve the circumstances of Giuffre’s death.
