Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday celebration was reported to have taken place over the weekend of August 22–24, 2025. WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather named John Cena, The Undertaker, Kane and Bradshaw—better known as JBL—as attendees, and said Jelly Roll performed. The names are a partial account, not a complete guest list.
Who The Godfather said attended
In remarks attributed to The Godfather, whose real name is Charles Wright, he named The Undertaker, Kane, Bradshaw/JBL and John Cena. He also said that Jelly Roll performed. The Sportster’s September 4, 2025 report, syndicated by Yardbarker, quoted him saying: “I’m not going to mention everybody who was there but, of course, Taker was there and Kane was there and Bradshaw was there. We had a good time. Cena was there. A lot of entertainers were there. Jelly Roll performed.”
His qualification matters: he said he would not name everyone present. These are the people and performer he chose to mention, not a verified or exhaustive attendance list. The report attributes the remarks to The Godfather’s appearance on AdFreeShows’ “Poddin’ Ain’t Easy”; the underlying podcast episode was not independently reviewed for the syndicated account.
When and where the celebration reportedly happened
The report places the celebration on the weekend of August 22–24, 2025, around McMahon’s 80th birthday. It attributes the dates to F4Wonline. It also reports the Baccarat Hotel in New York as the party location and Gotham Hall as the location of Jelly Roll’s performance, again citing F4Wonline. The account does not specify the schedule or which events took place at each venue beyond that distinction.

What The Godfather recalled about McMahon
The Godfather recalled that McMahon wore a suit resembling Dr. Evil’s look from the Austin Powers films. The report quotes him: “He goes, ‘Charles, I just want you to know there’s nobody here that’s not my true friend.’ And we talked for a second and then we walked in, but he had on, like, a Dr. Evil suit.” This is his recollection, not a separately verified description.
He also said McMahon looked better and walked better than he had in pictures The Godfather had seen. Those are personal impressions, not medical information or an independently established assessment of McMahon’s health.
