A later profile identifies her as Lu Aimei and describes food blogging as a way to support her family; those biographical details come from secondary reporting.
How Mama Lu began food blogging
Scroll’s profile says Mama Lu had become an online food blogger about three years before the video was published on December 25, 2021—roughly 2018. Its accessible page provides a short summary and a video player, not a transcript, so it does not establish the specific events or conversations behind her decision.

A 2022 profile by InspireMore identifies her as Lu Aimei and says the family’s circumstances led her to look for a way to support her sons through food blogging. That account offers more biographical context than Scroll’s summary; it should be understood as secondary reporting rather than as information confirmed in Scroll’s accessible text. InspireMore’s profile describes her as a full-time mother who also blogs.
How her sons help make the videos
Scroll says Mama Lu’s sons help film and edit her videos. InspireMore’s 2022 account identifies them as Xiaoqiang and Xiaomeng, respectively describing the elder son as directing and the younger son as editing. The names and division of tasks are details reported by InspireMore, while Scroll’s summary confirms the broader point that her sons contribute to filming and editing.

What the profile does—and does not—establish
The available description frames food blogging as a family effort: Mama Lu creates cooking content, and her sons contribute to production. A Vietnamese-language report published by Hoa Học Trò / Tiền Phong on December 27, 2021 also identifies her as Lu Aimei and reports that her sons have ALS, but that is separate secondary reporting.
Scroll’s accessible page does not provide a transcript or confirm specific scenes, dialogue, earnings, or Mama Lu’s current audience size. The profile is therefore best read as a brief account of her move into food blogging and her sons’ role in making the videos, not as a detailed account of the family’s finances or current online following.
