Why do the announcement’s headline and body give different titles?
The headline calls the project “Anunnaki: Ancient Truths Exposed.” The announcement’s body repeatedly calls it “Anunnaki: Ancient Secrets Revealed.” The discrepancy appears within the same announcement; the available information does not establish whether one wording is an earlier title, a revised title, or an error. This article retains “Ancient Truths Exposed” when identifying the announcement by its headline and notes the body’s alternate wording rather than treating the names as confirmed separate productions.

The premiere announcement says the series investigates theories about the Anunnaki’s influence on civilization and presents extraterrestrial involvement as a controversial premise. That is a description of the series’ subject, not evidence that extraterrestrial origins or intervention are established facts.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s accounts of Mesopotamian religion offer useful context, though they do not assess this series. They describe religious traditions that changed over time, with deities associated with cities and political power and the hierarchy of gods affected by political change. The museum also explains that surviving creation narratives are varied, rather than one unified systematic account. Mesopotamian Deities and Mesopotamian Creation Myths.
