The app also offers language features intended to help international fans read messages and reply, but a subscription does not guarantee personal one-to-one access, a reply, or a regular message schedule.
What is the Bubble app?
Dear U describes Bubble as “a private messaging service for artists and fans.” It is a subscription-based service organized around participating artists, rather than simply a public social feed. An artist’s messages and related content are delivered to subscribers through the app. Dear U’s official English Bubble page presents the service as part of its artist-fan communication offering.
Dear U says Bubble launched in February 2020 and places it within the company’s global fan communication business. Dear U’s corporate overview provides that company context.
How do artist subscriptions work?
Fans choose participating artists by purchasing subscription tickets or coupons through the relevant Bubble app or store. The official App Store listing says the number of artist subscriptions purchased determines how many artists a user can select. It also describes subscriptions as monthly renewals, with prices varying according to the number of artists selected. - Review the available subscription options, local price, and renewal terms before purchasing.
- Select the artist or artists covered by the subscriptions you bought.
Artist participation can change. Dear U’s English product page displayed a lineup of 114 agencies, 254 teams, and 570 stars as of September 30, 2025; that dated count should not be treated as a current 2026 roster. The company’s LLOUD store also advises users to check whether an artist currently offers Bubble before purchase. Is Bubble a real one-to-one chat with an idol?
Bubble uses an individualized chat-room format, but that does not establish that every message is a unique personal conversation with one subscriber. Dear U’s store describes artist messages as being transmitted to subscribers; a fan can reply in the interface, but the official material does not promise that an artist will see or answer a particular reply. Treat it as subscriber messaging with an individual room, not guaranteed private access to an artist.

Message frequency and live broadcasts are not guaranteed. The LLOUD store says Bubble “does not guarantee the transmission, frequency, or availability of messages or live broadcasts by artists,” and notes that transmissions occur irregularly and depend on the artist’s circumstances. The store’s service terms are the clearest source for these expectations.

Bubble’s international appeal combines artist-centered subscriptions with tools meant to reduce language friction. The official app listing says users can read an artist’s message and send a reply in their own language. Dear U’s Japan-facing feature page describes multilingual menus and automatic translation, as well as translation of comments in 14 languages. That page also says the service is usable in more than 200 countries. These are Dear U’s product descriptions, not an independent audit, and the feature set may differ by regional app, market, or artist channel. In practical terms, the service lets fans in different locations subscribe to the same participating artist while using supported language features to follow messages and interact. Dear U positions Bubble as a private or closed fan space; that description is product positioning, not a guarantee that every aspect of the service has been independently certified as safe.

What should you check before subscribing?
- Artist availability: Confirm the artist is listed in the precise Bubble app or store you intend to use; a roster on another regional service may differ.
- Local price and renewal: Check the current price and billing terms in your market. Subscription cost varies with the number of artists and the purchase channel.
- Language support: Look at the features available in your region and the artist’s channel rather than assuming every translation feature is universal.
- Communication expectations: A paid subscription does not guarantee a reply, a schedule, or live broadcasts.
- Content rules: Subscriber-only messages and content should not be leaked or redistributed. The LLOUD store warns users against sharing paid content and notes potential legal responsibility.
