A24’s official trailer introduces Tuesday, a 2024 fantasy drama in which Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Lola Petticrew play a mother and teenage daughter forced to confront Death, who arrives in the form of an astonishing talking bird. Daina O. Pusić wrote and directed the film.
What is the Tuesday trailer about?
The trailer sets up a family story shaped by grief and mortality: a mother and her teenage daughter face an unexpected visitor who is Death, appearing as a talking bird. That premise comes from A24’s official synopsis; the trailer’s dramatic language should not be taken as confirmation of plot details beyond what the film’s official description establishes.
A24 published its official trailer listing on January 25, 2024. It credits Pusić as writer-director and names Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lola Petticrew, Leah Harvey and Arinzé Kene in the cast. A24’s film page identifies Tuesday as a 2024 film.
Is Tuesday the Julia Louis-Dreyfus movie?
Yes. Louis-Dreyfus stars as the mother, with Petticrew as her teenage daughter, according to A24’s synopsis. The film’s central fantasy conceit—Death taking the shape of a talking bird—puts their relationship and the subject of mortality at the center of the story.
