“Trump Force One” is the informal name commonly used for Donald Trump’s privately registered Boeing 757. The Federal Aviation Administration identifies the aircraft as N757AF, a 757-200 Series built in 1991, and lists DJT Operations I LLC—not Trump personally—as its registered owner. It is not Air Force One, which is a call sign for an Air Force aircraft carrying the president.
What is Trump Force One?
Trump Force One is the popular nickname for the Boeing 757 identified in the FAA registry as N757AF. The Trump Organization describes a custom Boeing 757 as the crown jewel of its aviation fleet, but the nickname is not the aircraft’s official registration or its legal owner’s name. These are registry entries, not a full ownership history or a report of a recent inspection. The FAA cautions: “The information contained in this record should be the most current Airworthiness information available in the historical aircraft record. However, this data alone does not provide the basis for a determination regarding the airworthiness of an aircraft or the current aircraft configuration.” The record alone therefore does not establish current airworthiness, cabin layout, installed features, operator arrangements, or flight activity.

Is Trump Force One the same as Air Force One?
No. N757AF is a privately registered Boeing 757 listed to DJT Operations I LLC. “Air Force One” is a call sign used when an Air Force aircraft is carrying the president; it is not the name of Trump’s private jet.
An archived White House explainer says: “Although ‘Air Force One’ can describe any Air Force aircraft carrying the President, it is now standard practice to use the term to refer to specific planes equipped to transport the Commander-in-Chief.” That historical page described two customized Boeing 747-200B series aircraft, tail codes 28000 and 29000, designated VC-25A.
