There is no objective way to rank the most beautiful women in professional wrestling. This editorial list treats “beautiful” as a subjective impression of public image and presentation, not as a measurable achievement—and it gives each selection a professional reason to be remembered. The names span generations because women’s wrestling has a history stretching from the 1800s to the present, not only the television era familiar to many modern fans.
The available historical sources support a thoughtful cross-era selection, but they do not establish a definitive roster of 50 or an appearance ranking. Rather than inventing entries to reach the headline number, this list focuses on wrestlers whose historical roles and presentation can be discussed responsibly.
How to read this list
“Beautiful” here refers to an editorial view of a wrestler’s public image, style, and presentation. It does not measure talent, influence, or worth. Wrestling accomplishment and historical significance are separate considerations: a striking persona may attract attention, while a championship, groundbreaking appearance, or long career gives a wrestler a different kind of importance.
The Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame describes eras spanning pre-radio (1800s–1910), radio (1920s–1950s), early television (1950s–1970s), modern television (1980–2000), and internet (2000–present). Its history includes pioneers, professional wrestlers, amateur competitors, and other contributors. For this topic, the focus is professional wrestlers, with historical breadth as a check against limiting the story to recent U.S. television stars. Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame: History

Historical pioneers and the foundations of women’s wrestling
Mildred Burke
Mildred Burke belongs in any account of women’s professional wrestling history. The Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame’s inductee list offers her as one of the figures whose careers help make the sport’s early history visible. Her place here is historical, not a claim that any source has ranked her appearance.
Mae Young
WWE describes Mae Young as a pioneer and says she and Mildred Burke helped train The Fabulous Moolah. Young was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008. Her long-standing public presence and forceful character made her memorable, while her influence on later wrestlers is the stronger reason to include her in wrestling history. WWE also notes that the 2005 documentary Lipstick and Dynamite profiled Young and other early women’s wrestling pioneers. WWE: Mae Young

The Fabulous Moolah
WWE records that The Fabulous Moolah won a battle royal for the vacant Women’s Championship of the World in 1956 and became the first woman inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, in 1995. Those are concrete milestones; claims about the exact length of her title reign depend on how title lineage and recognized reigns are counted. Her distinctive presentation helped establish a lasting public image, but appearance should not be confused with the significance or complexity of her career. WWE: The Fabulous Moolah
Babs Wingo, Marva Scott, and Ethel Johnson
Babs Wingo, Marva Scott, and Ethel Johnson are recognized by the Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame for pioneering work and for challenging racial barriers in professional wrestling. Their inclusion matters because a history centered only on mainstream television visibility would leave out important Black women wrestlers. Exact “first” distinctions and detailed career claims require individual corroboration, so this article does not assign them unsupported records. Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame: Inductees

Television-era presence and popular culture
Wendi Richter
Wendi Richter combined a memorable public presentation with a major place in the Rock ’n’ Wrestling Connection. WWE describes her as a two-time Women’s Champion and records that she defeated Moolah for the title at MTV’s 1984 event The Brawl to End It All, a moment linked to Cyndi Lauper and the wider popular-culture reach of wrestling. Her significance is not simply that she looked the part of a star: her visibility helped bring women’s wrestling to a much larger audience. WWE: Wendi Richter
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why a definitive top 50 would be misleading
The surviving source material does not establish a complete candidate pool, a shared standard for attractiveness, or a consensus ranking. It also supports only a limited set of named career claims in detail. A numbered list of 50 would therefore imply a level of research and precision that is not available here. A more honest account distinguishes subjective presentation from verifiable wrestling history, and makes room for both famous television figures and pioneers whose contributions are less familiar.

For readers who want to explore the wider history, the Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame’s inductee list is a useful discovery point across eras, though it is not a beauty ranking or a substitute for individual biographies. WWE’s biographies are useful for WWE-recognized milestones. The 2005 documentary Lipstick and Dynamite, as described by WWE, offers another route into the stories of early women’s wrestling pioneers.
