Lionsgate revealed the third film’s official title, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, at CinemaCon on April 2, 2025. It opened in theaters on November 14, 2025; that date has passed, so it is not an upcoming release. Variety’s announcement report covered the title reveal and the fourth-film news, while the official Lionsgate film page lists the November 14, 2025 date.
Is Now You See Me 4 confirmed?
Yes: Lionsgate announced that a fourth film was in development. At CinemaCon, Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson said, “We were so happy with the director’s cut, we’re already developing the next chapter,” as reported by Variety on April 2, 2025.
Variety reported that Ruben Fleischer would return to direct. That is an announcement-time attachment, not confirmation that production has begun. The cited reports do not give the fourth film a release date or official title, and they do not confirm its cast.

What is Now You See Me: Now You Don’t about?
The third film brings the original Four Horsemen together with a younger generation of illusionists. According to Lionsgate’s official synopsis, they target the corruption of diamond heiress Veronika Vanderberg, whose dealings are connected to arms dealers, traffickers and warlords. The newer illusionists named in the studio synopsis are Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa and Ariana Greenblatt.
Cast and credits
The returning cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher and Morgan Freeman. Rosamund Pike and Ariana Greenblatt join them; Lionsgate’s synopsis also names Smith and Sessa among the younger magicians.

Lionsgate’s November 17, 2025 release credits Ruben Fleischer as director. The screenplay is by Seth Grahame-Smith, Michael Lesslie, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, from a story by Eric Warren Singer. Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt created the characters; Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Bobby Cohen are producers.

Lionsgate estimated that Now You See Me: Now You Don’t earned $75.5 million worldwide in its opening weekend in 2025: $21.3 million in North America, where it played in 3,403 theaters, and $54.2 million across 64 international territories. These are the studio’s opening estimates, reported in its November 17, 2025 release.

The Associated Press reported an early Rotten Tomatoes score of 59% and that 63% of surveyed viewers said they would definitely recommend the film, citing PostTrak. Those are opening-weekend indicators, not current scores or a claim about all viewers. The AP also put the first two films’ combined worldwide total at more than $686 million.
